Well atleast there are 3 teams now with their schedules up out West!
I guess that last spot for expansion out west in '09 never came through. It also looks as if they(west) will be starting their season on time this year. So what the heck took so long in getting these schedules out? This is even somewhat incomplete as they have 'TBA' listed for some game times.

Now they'll play a similar 3 team schedule as last season. Utah, Ogden & Wyoming. Seems like the west will incur more travel expenses in 09. I hope they survive it...
The problem as i see it is they cant add enough teams fast enough to fill the vacancies by the ones who fold. IMO, they should just do away with the west, (unless they can add a handful of teams at a time), & just focus on the East coast here. No disrespect intended for M&M either. But here we are 2 years in a row and its still only 4 teams and geographically they are spread out pretty far.....

I agree! with the exception of the 2 UT franchises these teams fairly spread out. I would like to see this thing survive out west but if worthy investors are not found to keep these new teams going out there I can see the other teams folding in the same way as AZ did or choosing a different league for their team to play in. So far we've exchanged 2 franchises for 2 more franchises out there and the trend is really bad right now for the league. Less teams now than when Columbus entered the league. Heck Columbus lost their whole freaking division!
.....Personally I think their efforts up North have been the most productive. They have teams that are close to one another and can survive from that. I think they should only concentrate on the North east for expansion in my opinion. Columbus has no opponent less than 4 1/2 hours away! That was the same as last year pretty much but It just leaves them on an island for the most part. We have the SG Wildcats only an hour and 20 minutes away and will never see them.
