The Alaska Wild added another dual threat quarterback on Monday by signing Jamie Williamson. Williamson (6'1", 205) runs a 4.40 40 yard dash and played in 2008 with the Canton Legends, along with new Wild WR Victor Smith, and was rated first in the league in passing and rushing for a QB by the fifth week.
In 2008 in Canton, Williamson was 80 of 178 with 12 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and had 228 yards rushing on 64 carries with 5 touchdowns. He was also a receiving threat, making 22 catches for 250 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Williamson attended Coastal Carolina and played for the Georgia Ragin' Bulls of the North American Football League, a nationwide semi-pro league. Williamson went 31-12 as a starter for the Ragin' Bulls from 2006-2008 and was named a NAFL All-American all three of those years and was offensive MVP of the NAFL All-Star game in 2006 and 2007. Williamson will compete with Pierce Blewett and Luke Zetazate for the starting quarterback job.

He was a better receiver than QB in Canton, he tends to throw a lot of passes into the turf, I wish him well with the wild.
