The Armor have released there season ticket plans and seating chart. I was doing some quick math, for two of the Armor's cheapest season tickets it will cost you $420, divide that by the number of games (7), and then divide again by two (two tickets) to get the per game cost of $30 a ticket Now I don't mean to be rude but $30 to see minor league indoor football is ridicules. Not to mention if that is the season ticket cost I would hate to see what an individual game will set you back. Look at it this way, last season you could get two Arizona Rattler season tickets for $468 (lower level end zone), see eight games (one more than the Armor), have a better fan experience in a superior arena, and pay the same per game. For $420 you could also buy two 21 game plans with the Washington Nationals. I don't care how many free hats, T-Shirts, and other STH benefits the Armor offer, there is no way an AIFA team should charge $30 a game. I know it won't happen but the Armor need to pull there head out of there ass and examine these ticket prices. www.dcarmor.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10&Itemid=15

That cant be right? I believe the cheapest Express ticket per game averages $8 per game. My tickets, i have 2 front row center endzone & they cost me about what 1 season tick does for you guys. IMO, they better restructure that deal...

I am actually looking at their season tickets and it looks like a great deal. You save $60.00 for two season ticket seats at the cheap level for $420 as apposed to $240 for one seat. You also get two T-shirts, two hats and one afinity card, whatever that is. It looks like you are paying some extra cash just for the merchandise they offer to you as a season ticket holder.
I am a season ticket holder for the Express and have the expensive seats. I pay $350 for 2 seats per season in the expensive seats. This averages out to just under $21.50 and a game. The tickets would've cost me $380.00 if I hadn't renewed them by September 1st.
We do not receive any merchandise with any of our season tickets, not that I'm complaining. I don't think that the cost is that bad considering the market that you are in.

Yes, but the Armor are going up against some high-level sports. While the high ticket prices may project a high level of talent and thus draw fans, I think it's more likely that this will turn people off.
What is more interesting to me is how much the other seats cost on a per-game basis.

Keep in mind that your $21.50 a game is in the expensive seats. Thirty dollars in Washington will only get you the cheap seats. I checked Baltimore’s website, the only comparable market in the AIFA, all of there season ticker plans, even the best seats, cost less than two cheap Armor season tickets. That's right two premium Baltimore tickets will only cost you $378. So does $30 still seem like a reasonable price to you?

I wonder what they have to pay the facility to play there. That could be the reason for the high cost.

Part of an email sent by D.C Armor owner Corey Barnette:
The release today on our web site was for our value packs. In essence, those season tickets with both premium location and add-ons. These packs are designed to offer Armor patrons the opportunity to receive both merchandise and tickets in value packs at discounts.
We will be releasing ticket-only season packages wherein each seat will be valued at $20/seat for the regular season (i.e. $140 season tickets). The map does not show these as they have not been released yet. Stay tuned.
Regards, Corey Barnette
Well it was great to hear back from Mr.Barnette, and he had good news too. Looks like I jumped the gun a bit. Not every day an owner emails you back.
