The Raiders are an IFL team now. Since the Raiders never actually played a real AIFA game, I say we delete them all together. I agree. I was gonna run it by Joe 1st.

I was looking at it with a rational approach. The press release was "Raider sign 2 year deal with AIFA". Then they played a few exibition games. And they got players on the All Star roster(BS, but still recognized). I would leave this forum. The Rochester fans were never a problem. It's the owners that are the problem. Leaving the forum up for the brief history would make some sense. Atleast for the fans. Just my opinion.

I disagree with your opinion. 1) There is no Gulf Coast Raiders forum and they played real games in this league. 2) The all-star designations were no more than the ownership of the AIFA kissing Rochester's ass. Nothing more, nothing less. 3) I wonder if the Huntington Heroes had a forum on the old WIFL fan boards when they were in the league, then bailed on them. They played as many games in the WIFL as the Raiders played in the AIFA. Finally, I submit to you that, in order to be a historical team, you have to actually have participated. Using the above rationalization, Chris Spielman should go into the Hall of Fame as a Cleveland Brown. He played an exhibition game or two for them. Thus, I disagree.

Why would we have had a forum for a team that never played a game in the league?

Same thing here. Unless that Erie-Rochester game suddenly counts now.

Despite the initial report that Rochester signed a 2 year deal to be in the AIFA i am wondering if it was ever 100% & not just a verbal deal. IMO, Rochester was nevver fully a part of this league. I also would like to see their All Stars removed from our list & replaced with players who actually played in the AIFA last season.

The second game vs. the Mariners was closer to a real exhibition game. Oh Well, Live & Learn.....
