And the press release stated? ?? So the grain of salt wasn't poured out for long. I know what was left out of the original press release. John Mize was calling the AIFA teams up and stating such and such teams were jumping to them, that they should too. The only problem was, he said, "Baltimore is coming". Then, the certain owner said, "Your full of shyt, it's league owned". To his reply, "Um, I mean Reading". I don't blame any team for listening to different options. But, if you are under contract, it would be different. Could they use talking to another league as leverage for this league. Maybe. Until a newspaper states. This team has signed with us. Or these teams signed with us. Then, and only then would it be a major problem.

Joe, We know that you know more than most of us, you probably saw the original release, you talk to league officials all the time. Hell, I'm convinced that you know who killed Kennedy...We get it, you're cool.
But you also know as well as the rest of us that this could happen. The IFL may very well steal one or more AIFA teams, and IMHO that bothers you a little whether you'll admit it or not.
I noticed Erie wasn't listed among the prospective markets, would your tune change if they had been?
John and Mike have said from the beginning of this thing that teams were welcome to leave if they weren't happy. Let's see how long that holds true if teams start jumping ship.

I don't think any league contracts are all that big a deal, either. If Peoria and Tennessee Valley could get out of AF2 contracts with relative ease, getting out of an AIFA contract would be a cakewalk for a team looking to move up.

Each FAB member is pretty close to their own teams. I don't use my "batphone" as much as many think. I don't know who really killed Kennedy............but I know where Hoffa is buried. If Erie was on the list. I would be against it. Travel would suck. And I believe the AIFA can get better. Should get better. That is one of my goals, to help make it better. Whether it works or not, your guess is as good as mine. If the AIFA does lose any teams(which doesn't seem to be happening) it might be ones that are on the bubble of disappearing. IE: Huntington.

Ok, you'd be against it. So hypathetically, if the 'Rats were to make the jump, you wouldn't go with them?

This came up before. When Hodas was going to move the Freeze to the CIFL. I sat in his office and told him straight out. If the teams goes there, I will not be apart of it. I would have went to the next closest team and helped them out. I was still with the AIFA when the Freeze left and I had no team. Does that answer your question?

I already knew the answer to my question Jose. I just had to ask it for the record. Just further proof that you don't know where your bread is buttered(See Southern dictionary).
I thought you/we came to the realization earlier this season that M&M didn't give a damn about you? I know Gene did.
