Got a lawyer? The Raiders, BCA, AIFA, the security guard, the company, all of the people involved with the company, and anyone else remotely involved (including the policeman and police department that arrested you, as well as the fired security guard) would have a nice lawsuit.

Unbelievable! I have personally seen worse(Huntington) and nothing was done about it. The incident in Erie/Canton was a deserving ban. A player was grabbed by a fan. But to get this from being a fan is BS. Wait until they have autograph sessions after the game on the field(all AIFA teams have it). When I was there last week. They had 120 security members there. And the second the final buzzer went off, they went thru the stands like riot police telling people to get out. Is the team sticking up for you atleast?

UNBELIEVEABLE! I was around 5 feet from that drum the entire game last week, and it didn't bother me or anyone on Eries' bench. I actually enjoyed the atmosphere that THE 8th MAN created during the game. You got the crowd into the game throughout and were nothing but positive. With the exception of a few "You sucks" from a few members of the general crowd (not THE 8th MAN) which is heard normally at any game, it was a very well behaved and enthusiastic crowd. I would be more than willing to vouch for any of you guys if you need me to. I'm sure they'd love to hear from a member of the opposition! Let's hope that this gets worked out before the 2009 season starts. I wonder how their going to react when the league wants them to have the post game autograph sessions? Tell that arena staff to.....

Rochester holds their autograph session in the lobby of the arena. I was told that they do that because usually they have to tear down right after the game for another event. I really believe they should have played one or two away games against AIFA teams so they can see how things are run. They learned nothing about gameday off the field by playing in Rochester and very little about the rules because they couldnt get a complete AIFA officiating crew to travel there. There is lots you can pick up by shadowing another teams game day staff and it might serve them well to have their front office staff attend an AIFA playoff game.

Our front office does a pretty good job considering it is one guy who is paid and a bunch of interns. We need to get him some real help. You are right, we should have had a game in Erie.

Tell that arena staff to..... To be fair... I was one of the guys yelling "you suck" and other such nonsense but thanked the players at the end of the game. Friendly rivalry and goading are one thing, but I want to be sure the players realize our appreciation. This whole deal is NOT an AIFA problem, but rather a Blue Cross Arena problem.

It is indeed a BCA problem, the worst part is I know about half the security, they are off duty officers, but these guys were just normal security guys looking for retaliation. Jeff Calkins at BCA needs to be flooded with phone calls tomorrow!
Here is one of the emails I have received today, emails like this make me proud of what we have done with the fanclub. I have left his name off of it, if he wishes to say who he is he can.
Greetings,You don't know me, but I've been attending every Raiders gamesince the Saginaw game. I've been reading your notes on message boards tokeep informed. You singlehandedly with the help from the rest of the 8thman make Raiders games very enjoyable for me - I haven't missed one since.I am grateful for all you do, and will be pleased to help support you inany of the aftermath of yesterday's fiasco.Best wishes and most sincerely,

Hey Bigdog, sorry to hear about the shenanigans that went on at the game. Here's hoping that those security guards get what they deserve.

Hi there. First I want to thank Baltimore for coming and giving Rochester probably the best game all season. Now I can only comment on the 1st half because well you know what happened. Now for the rest of this. Bigdog I know you have had more interaction with those who should have had interaction but I havent. I may say stuff that those people arent going to like but hey this is the backlash from the fact I have heard nothing. The night in question while Bigdog was getting accousted I had 4 guards on me but they must have been the keystone cops because while they almost got the cuffs on me but before closing it got caught on my coach's against cancer rubber braclet things. I pulled my arm out and started walking. All the while getting instigated by the guard who was sitting next to the 8th man section. Then as I am leaving and going down the stairs he throws more and more remarks my way, all the while his friends smiling smugly. Once I was outside I sent Bob 2 texts of what was happening (not that the whole arena couldnt see it but I figured Id send them anyway) and that he needed to get down here and set things straight. Now to this day I havent heard a word back from him. We were doing exactly what the 8th man was told to do from the team heads and when we are getting abused for it where are they? The year out of the arena ... yeah well that came after. Once outside the head of security found me again and ushered me back into the arena and forced me to sign the paper. Now the ban isnt really that harsh a deal for me because Raider games are the only thing I usualy go to there. My problem right now is getting over the fact that everyone saw what was happening and who they were taking out. So tell me why Bob, Dave, John, Jesus, Moses, etc. didnt come over and diffuse the situation? That is what I am most hot about. Until I get a reason for this, an apology from BCA and from the Raiders, and get a sign paper stateing that I can go into that arena .... I wont be back. So with that you may not see me on the boards much if at all. I am still pissed about everything that happened and am waiting to hear from Bigdog before I decide the next course of action. I find it warms my heart to see all the notes and such from you all. It means alot. THANK YOU Bulldog

BCA security being replaced by Joseph's security, a company owned by Nick Joseph, greece police officer. His security company handles Frontier field, Paetec Park, Cmac, all the downtown events, etc. and I personally know a majority of the guys who work for the company as I have worked security with most of them over the last 16 years or so. BCA thing will be cleared up, I will say this, this is the second time they have messed with us and the second time nothing was done from the Raiders standpoint. Face it, they are only around when they need something from us and looking at this more and more I wonder why I bother putting in hundreds of hours into the fan club, close to $1500 of my own money this year putting together road trips, t-shirts, banners, website, etc. for them to snub us when we need help. The only other time we received any help was John from the front office taking care of the situation with Jeff Calkins about us standing, so it took an hourly employee of the Raiders to straighten it out, not Bob or Dave. Maybe it is time to move on and support another local team. I wonder if Bob or dave will come to court with me tomorrow morning? I doubt it.

I hear Marion usually has a couple hundred empty seats every week.
Or Erie.
Or Wheeling.
Or Canton.
Or Albany.
Or Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Or Reading (though occasionally they sell out).
Try one of those. I bet they actually care about their fans.

Bigdog IS the face of the fans in Rochester. There is no more knowledgable, passionate, devoted, or fun guy before, at or after Raider games than Bigdog. Not sure if they will appear with Bigs. If I had a car and a way to get out of work, I would stand by him. I have all the respect in the world for him and would do just about anything for him. He has earned every ounce of my respect.

Thanks Reb, you find your true friends in times like these and I have sent you many e-mails I received, and there are more. I am holding judgement on the others until I see how it plays out, but I will say this, if they think I mean squat now might be the time to step up. If they do not then I know where I stand and it will be time to move on, and that will make me feel even worse than the day we quit the league and lost everything we worked for. I am not asking for much here.
