what a freakin' douchebag. This is some way to treat your season ticket holders and booster club. Bob Keeley needs to get his ass fired from the Blue Cross Arena.

Just got off the horn with Bigdog. Bulldog is banned for a year from the BCA. Bigs may be as well if I understand him. So basically, the teams 2 biggest fans won't be around for the 2009 season. Yeah... seems arena security had a vendetta for their comrade who got canned for being too rough. Bob Duffy needs a few letters sent his way.

Basically, one minute into the 2nd half, Arena security converged onto Big and Bull. They took them to a room and proceeded to be not so pleasant. They had been harassing the gang all night by moving the drum, taking away the drumstick, tearing down our 8th man signs that rope off our 4-5 rows reserved for us. I don't want to give out too much detail. But the team lost a great voice tonight. We SHOULD be celebrating a league title tonight, not a meaningless "Cup" victory over a league run team.

I am confused as to why this all came to a blow tonite. I mean if thats the setup you guys have had these past few seasons then why all of a sudden did security rag o ya's? Seems weird....

This is their first year in the BCA. The Raiders are in their third venue in three season (The ESL in '06, the Main Street Armory in '07, and the BCA in '08-- as well as last years title game. Reportedly because they couldn't play in the MSA due to their bleachers being repossessed?!)

Maybe ownership can talk with BCA security and work things out?

So let me get this straight. They are banned because they used a drum that has been used all season and now security has a cow over it? Sounds like they had it in for you guys. Loads of BCA

Let me try to make some sense of this.
For the last 2 years, last year at the Armory and this year at BCA we have had 5 rows reserved in our section for the fan club only. The agreement was made, I paid for the extra seats that we not bought. The agreement was we were allowed to stand during the game as we have for 2 years and bang the drum, etc. About 6 weeks ago at the end of a game I was talking to some of the Sagniaw players after the game and the security guys wanted to get us out, so we were finishing up a conversation was I was grabbed by the throat by a security guy, when I removed his hand from my throat and he realized he was in trouble he called for backup, problem for him, the backup is a friend of mine and RPD officer. So the security guy was fired, I was sent a letter of apology along with some other things I am not allowed to talk about. Has not been a problem since.
Last night they had a security guy sit right next to our section and he told us we could not use the drum that close to him, we had to move it 10 seats, we did not like it but did not say anything and did it. Throughout the game the guy would make comments and we stayed polite. First play of the second half we are told by another security guy we have to sit, when we questioned why, he told us that is it, you 2 are out of here. I was shocked and as they escorted us out the security guy was pissed about the fans who were yelling at them and booing them so we get just behind the curtain and he decides to slam me against the wall and tries to handcuff me, he cuts himself doing it. He tells me it is my fault because he has not had to use them in years.
They take me and Bulldog to seperate rooms, I have 7 security guys in my face talking trash to me about how does it feel to get screwed like our security staff did the last time? I am saying nothing as they want me to do the wrong thing, this goes on for about 20 minutes. Somehow I kept my cool. They finally give me this paper and say sign here, I say, what is this? He says it say you will not come back for one year! I said I am not signing anything without my attorney. He says fine you are under arrest then! He takes me out to the cop car and the cop is real nice, pats me down, puts me in the back of the car. The security guard keeps walking by the car and smiling at me, finally the cop says that guy really has it out for you. I said yes sir and I have no idea why. The cop was real nice and said I am not taking you in, this is ridiculous, he tells the security guy and he is pissed because of it. He shows him the cut on his hand and the cop tells him it is not my fault that he could not use handcuffs properly. LOL. He gave me an appearnce ticket for trespassing and my attorney said he will get it thrown out Monday morning.
Most of you do not know me, but I am an easy going guy. I do not look for trouble, I lived like that when I was younger and went somewhere too many times and I grew up. I have a fulltime career, I also own a c business and flip houses, I have a family and have not been in trouble in 16 years. For me to be treated like that last night was uncalled for.
Mayor Duffy and Jeff calkins need to hear about these guys and will and I am asking every Raider fan to call Jeff Calkins Monday and let him know how you feel.

At some arenas in the AIFA (Like Huntington) you can throw beer and stuff on the players and security doesnt even wake from their naps. Sounds like real Gestapo tactics in Rochester.
