Refs read the boards, suddenly we can't make noise at our OWN arena with a drum we have used for 2 seasons or boards we have kicked since day one, illegal defense calls called on some plays and not others where the Raiders lined up the same way they had when called, helmets being ripped off with no calls... Something stinks here. I do apologize for wasting the AIFA's time... these games should NEVER have taken place...although I do enjoy the new found rivalry we have with Erie. Dedicated fans that deserve better than this league gives. Sadly, I feel there are many fans trapped under that same description in any given league here. I do hope the final two games here don't happen.

Its funny, Baltimore has a drum right behind the visitors bench and its not an issue in their arena. I bet them being owned by the league got them some special consideration in Rochester as far as your drum banging.
As for the illegal defense, I posted in another thread that there is more to it than the way they line up. You guys are really gonna have to get a hold of the rule book and learn it. Im not being an ass but it is an entirely different game than your used to playing. The meager 9 point win over a 4-10 team should convince you of that. But hey, props for the win, looking forward to the Rats playing the Raiders again and this time it will mean something.

Agreed about the rulebook, 27 penalties in the first half or this game is ugly.

Hey Gang... Great game last night!!! It was great to meet and chat with some of fan in Rochester.
As for the penallties... In the 1st half there was 12 on the Raiders 8 on the Mariners. Most of the 12 were illegal defense. I agree the Raiders only had a couple of weeks to prepare for the AIFA games BUT They knew the rules. They blitz both LB's forward as well as Blitz outside of the "A"Gaps and also used them in the flats like DB's. Yes it is true it is more than the way you line up. But when the Jack splits and is chasing a WR on a post route 15 yards down field and the Mack Blitzed outside of the tackle on the same play. You can not do that in any league that I know of.
As for the Raiders team and organization. VERY GOOD!!! I really enjoyed a hard fought smash mouth game last night.
As for 27 penalties. Not true
