Much better job with the coach speak than the CYA, Bernie.

Louisiana next huh? These teams should all tell Rochester where to stick it. They hung themselves out to dry, no need for everyone to go out of their way to bail them out. They want the chance to play against us and we want the chance to play the best, what is wrong with that? Not too mention it costs them nothing to come here, it is all paid for by Bob.

Good idea, but Bob really shouldn't be trying to get teams to play against him when they already have other obligations. I mean, really...the day of the UIF-IFL game? Louisiana already will have plans. And those plans will be to play a league champion in Sioux Falls or Billings (unless the 7-7 reg. season Bloomington Extreme somehow win).

It doesn't matter who paid for it, it's just a really arrogant thing to do to approach another team to work in another game on their off week, and a stupid thing for the league to allow it. What I'm saying is that if I own the Erie RiverRats and someone pitched this game to me, I'd tell them to kiss my, (explitive deleted) it doesn't matter who pays for it. There's just too much risk. And if Bob is so damn brave, why won't he take his show on the road?

And if Bob is so d**n brave, why won't he take his show on the road? Well it's simple, if he goes on the road, his chances of getting Refs who will let rules slide goes down 50%. But it probably doesn't even matter. If Lousiana was smart, they'd just put in 2nd string players. BUT then Roc would beat them like 50-15 and they will continue to pat themselves on the backs and think they are the best team this side of the Milky Way. But I have heard that the Crab Nebula Supernovas have one hell of the Squad. Unfortunately, they are 6,500 light years away, but maybe Bob has enough cash to build a space ship. If he could only resurrect Einstein!

And if he has the money to fly in a team from another league, then he obviously had the money to help out a team in his league complete its season and help out the league that's he belongs to maintain its credibility. Wouldn't you agree?

Wouldn't you agree? Well, yeah, but that's not the route we've taken, now, is it? Louisiana, from what I've been told by sources down there, isn't interested in pulling up on anyone (especially after the scare in Anchorage). The Raiders really don't want to mess with that...it'd be a beat down regardless of venue. That team is beyond scary - perhaps the best in the history of the sport. And they're not even that good on offense a lot of the time. Bartie's only hitting on 53% of his passes. They beat Alaska 88-13 despite completing 11/30 passes last weekend. The same team they almost lost to on the road. Overlooking someone? Not hardly.

Josh, Josh, Josh, Josh
I feel like Tony Randall when he would go Oscar,Oscar,Oscar...
1) Bartie was hurt, hence the low QB stats 2) And when your defense puts 6 TDs on the board, it gives the offense some breathing room does it not?
If this was 1972, you'd be finding fault with Bob, Larry, Jim and Paul and Earl....
No bigee...

Their passing stats show how amazing this team has been - it actually does the opposite of what you say. They have as bad a game as you could have (11/30 - 4 picks) and score 88 anyways. Unbelievable.

Josh:
An astute follower of the game such as yourself knows that you can't tell everything by what's on the stats:
LA has incredible team chemistry, they force their opponents to make and then they capitalize on them. There is that aura of near invincibility when the team is on their game, and when they don't have their A game, they do what is needed to win that game.
And since I'm butter -- (becuase I'm on a roll) -- here's another point I want to bring up for discussion.
There's no way you can slap a game together like the presentation being made -- bringing in a team from a 1,000 miles away with just three weeks preparations. Spare me.
