For those select few who know me here. You will probably understand this more than everyone else. I was at one time very well known and part of former leadership here in Augusta under previous ownership. When new ownership took over for some reason or other they chose to create friction with several of us. This along with several other things that occured during the season seemed to be evident all year. Well its been along year. Thank You Coaches, Cheerleaders, and players for a job well done. Most all thank all of you for having the fortitude and admiration to invite me and several others as guest to your private end of season party. I can honestly say that Augusta has finally come together as old and new have merged together to share in the vison for the continued sucess of arena football in the CSRA. I look forward as do others, investors, fans, friends and in sharing and supporting this vision here in Augusta for years to come. This town can support and stand by a team it will happen.
For the first time all season I can honestly say its a great day to be an Augusta Colt. The future is going to indeed be bright in Augusta.

Here's where management will prove themselves, or pack it in. Now the work begins. The '09 season starts NOW, not January.

Yea, and I tend to agree with you. Its time now to get back to the drawing board and get started. I'm not sure what the plan is for next year but I do know this and it isn't just aimed at me they are many of us in Augusta who know what its going to take to prove it. Time we all got together and offered feedback some of us have great ideas and together we can get it done.

Next week there needs to be a questionaire mailed out or a survey placed on myspace that can be responded to a kinda of report card.
This needs to be done now to guage where we are at so that if its not broke leave it alone if it is broke lets fix it.
As my old football coach said time to evaulate the program.

The article in the Augusta Chronicle Sunday in the back of the sports section wasn't good nobody cares about what happen last year put that away it just makes things worse and tears up all the good. I like all of you but the new season begins in two weeks time now to get ready. Presell season tickets show up at all the festivals in front of Walmart schools Carnivals and most important get in with the schools and youth indoor football. You want good crowds show up all over the countryside have sign ups drawings for prizes so you can get folks to call about tickets. Get the word out pound them with coverage summer reading programs, players visiting high school games and get in good with the Georgia Ragin Bulls my team as they have the clout and the power to make Augusta.

I just read the article, sounds like a rough night for Satcher. As the story said, he has flashes of brilliance, but also has a tendency to shoot himself in the foot.
T, good luck to you guys in the offseason. I hope you and the Colts management can get things going in the right direction to fill the house for every home game next season.

The other one about Colts overcoming adversity this season. We all know about attendance, sponsorship issues, and off field situations no sense in bringing that up again.
