Yes, I'm eating crow. lol Of course, I'm SUPPOSED to be wearing a Phantoms jersey all week, but darn it - it doesn't fit.  I do want to thank the Florence staff for taking such good care of us while we were in town! Everyone was very accomodating and helpful. Thanks guys! By the way, I give your pregame prep a B (maybe an A-).  I know at least one staff member was concerned I'd over critique, but hey, ya'll did pretty good. Not as good as here in Augusta, but not everyone can be as good as I am!  kidding, of course |

Yes Florence you were a great host and I forgot to acknowledge a gentlemen that I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with from Charleston SC. It was like old times we both know the same people all across the country. I forgot his name but he scouts talent for a scouting service out of Florida for NFL, CFL, AF2, AF1, and just about anybody. He was at the game looking at Ralph Scott from Augusta our defensive back. He was very impressed. He also wants to see film on Marvin Stone.

It took them four tries to get it enjoy it because next year it will be heading back to Augusta on my desk in my office. Regardless of where my office is.

The real cup is gone along with all those cool pictures we took. Aw those were the good ole days somebody even picked up my Phantoms tee shirt I had with it. The cup was in a resturant at one time. Only thing I have left is a number 6 Florence Phantoms Jersey starting to collect stuff from other teams for the shelf.
I have got something neat three of them the Florence Phantoms first season AIFL Coins those were sharp if you ever lay your hands on one keep it. They were numbered.
