The Raiders are looking good in the CIFL. The reason I bring it up, was that they nearly joined our league from what I heard. I wonder what happened with that? They would have been a perfect fit for the North and gave Reading and Erie some competion. Maybe they will join next season.

Rochester is a bad egg always thinking they're better than the league they're in. They're now trying, once again, to get into the AF2 (in Buffalo) next year.
Will it happen? Who knows. But ego that big is really not needed at this level. Even the AF2 level.

Rochester should consult with the Daytona Beach ownership and find out how that "We're too good for this league" thing is working out for them....
They have egod themselves to an embarassing inaugural season in AF2...

I don't know how good their fan club board is though. They don't even have their game scores on for the last 2 games. Isn't that about the easiest thing to do on a board? All I have to say is bring them to the North in this league and they will soon find out what competition is.

All posts here are pretty well correct.
The Raiders have a darn good team on the field.
The Raiders have two owners that, despite what they now say (after I pushed the issue), can not stand one-another...and one of them is leaving to the AF2.
Now, Barto says the Raiders will be his feeder team...but the second he does anything public with that, the AF2 will sock him with one hell of a fine - the AF2 does not want to work with these indoor leagues! IT WAS CREATED TO TRY TO GET RID OF THEM!!! Truth be told, I don't think Barto wants the Raiders to succeed. And to my own opinion, unless they get competent money management in there, they won't. Dave McCarthy has no cash, and he has burned more than a couple bridges with his used-car salesman (his other career) schtick.
The Raiders almost went to the AIFA - so much that M&M were in Rochester on the night of last year's CIFL Bowl. And to be blatantly honest...the CIFL lost their "top" franchise in Port Huron last year, and didn't miss a beat. If Rochester goes by the wayside because of incompetent management, the CIFL again won't miss a beat.
Barto says he's learned from his mistakes (but his only true mistake was letting his ego dictate what he did). Buffalo will be a good opportunity for him to prove that.

"The 8th Man" fan club is gonna sound stupid when they join an 8-on-8 (as opposed to the CIFL's 7-on-7) league, LOL.
And to think, they spent money on a domain for their site and a professional to design it too.
I might stick around just to watch their fans migrate to this board... this should be fun.

Tatonka, So great to be back in your presence, I have missed your bashing Obviously the 8th man will no longer be the name, we will come up with something new. As far as being wrong for paying for a domain and a professional to do the website we do everything the right way here, money is not an object. So I am sorry that you are disappointed we did not go the cheap route. As far as updating it, that is my fault 100%, I take the blame, I have been busy and have not updated it, will update it very soon. To all others, we look forward to playing the teams assigned to us and having some fun, back to what this was supposed to be about to begin with!

Eh?
The thing is, you hicks in Marion deserved all the suspensions and bans from the boards... you can barely speak English, let alone spell it competently.
Mayhem fans are the happiest bunch around, now that Rochester's bolting from the CIFL has given them a playoff spot. Isn't it nice to have stuff handed to you bucknut?
