Rathe played for The Spartans last year in the 'wifl'! I know I watched him beat Coumbus for the championship game
unless that was early in the season last year

No doubt Rathe can play. I liken his style to Brett Farve. He's the kind of guy that will do what it takes in a game, but when he's off, he's way off.
As I stated before, Mike is an incredible tallent as far as indoor QBs go, he just doesn't always make it to practice. If he does this week, the Phantoms are in trouble.
On the topic of venues, I believe Christenberry Fieldhouse is the answer. I think Jimmy looked into it last year but for whatever reason the deal never came to be.
The JBA is run by a bunch of jackasses. When I was there last week, I saw on the news where two of them got arrested for getting into a fist fight at a board meeting, and none of them do anything to make the place more attractive.

Mike Rathe played for Florence last season for several weeks before Augusta kidnapped him and bought him bak from Florence. Yes, Jimmy looked at ASU good move if they can get it worked out.

Dont even want to talk about the JBA Management staff. I put in for the GM job several years back and came in 3rd in the interview process. No comment other than to say I know nothing about running a arena wait they dont either.

We shall see should be fun to watch. Any team can be beaten on a given night Augusta will be up for this one.

I'm not disregarding what they've done because they have done what they needed to do to win and thats the mark of a great team!
.......I do think they are completly beatable! Remember that Columbus had a bad night and Omar Jacobs Stayed in Shotgun most of the night! OR else he would have been hurt. Florence needs an O-line badly to push them over the top
........With that being said Columbus needs Florence to win to assure us of a play-off spot! Although I don't like backing into the play-offs I'll take it
........Should be a great game! Wish I could hear it

If the weakspot of the Florence offense is their O-Line, then they may indeed be in trouble as Augusta has a pretty tough defensive front.
Should be a good one, glad I won't be in Florence South Carolina to watch it.

hey I wasn't picking a fight I just saw the game first hand!
They could not keep us outta the backfield and Omar was scrambling for his life(which he does very well). 3 holding calls on your running back means that somebody ain't blocking. Joey conrad scored on a play from under center last weekend but didn't stay in shotgun all night either.
And I like cat ?nip?! It has a better ring to it you, you name caller! Please

Florence fans are funny.....They have one year of marginal success,(on the field) and all of the sudden there is a mouth full of trash to talk.
Three holding calls on anybody in one game means poor pass protection, plain and simple. Good luck keeping Voncellies Allen and Co. out of your backfield.

Yes, I saw that more sponsors this year and attendance was better at the games I attended. As for changing the culture of what Florence use to be what did you do for Wilson High School this years state 3 AAA Football Champs. Are you doing anything with Darlington Raceway? I know you guys have it rough drawing crowds and getting commuinity support. I spent alot of time in your area on a previous job you have alot to be proud of but a few wins isnt a championship year.
Oscar Davenport going to play quarterback?
