RECORD ATTENDANCE FOR A WEEKNIGHT SPORTING EVENT SET AT THE SANTA ANA STAR CENTER BY THE WILDCATS The New Mexico Wildcats Professional Football Club lost to the Arizona Adrenaline on Tuesday night by the score of 34-8 before an estimated crowd of 3,500 excited Wildcat fans. This is believed to be an attendance record for a weeknight sporting event at the Santa Ana Star Center. The Wildcats played the Adrenaline tough througout the game falling behind at halftime by a score of 12-0. The Adrenaline increased its lead to 34-0 before the Wildcats scored with just 30 seconds left in the game. The Wildcats defense held the potent Adrenaline offense at bay for most of the night, however, the Wildcat offense could never get untracked. The Wildcats record dropped to 2-6, while the Adrenaline improved to 6-2. The Wildcats now get ready for the undefeated Wyoming Cavalry, who will be in town for a game on Saturday night. Saturday nights game is being sponsored by the Santa Ana Star Casino and the first 1,000 adult fans will receive "terrible Wildcat towels". THE WILDCAT FAN FOOTBALL COUNT FOR THE ARIZONA GAME WAS 53, WHICH MEANS THAT 53 LUCKY FANS WENT HOME WITH A SOUVENIR "AIFA" LEAGUE FOOTBALL. www.newmexicowildcats.com/index. ... 0&Itemid=1
