Who is number 10 on the crybabies? He kept coming over and talking trash to us, after the last Erie TD I kept calling him over but he never did.

Ok I don’t even live in West Virginia. I went to school at Marshall which is in Huntington and now reside in Washington D.C. So thanks for all the comments assuming I am some ignorant hillbilly. What are you guys so mad about any way, you won and I congratulated you. I doubt any of you showed such class when we killed your team in Huntington earlier in the season. As far as West Virginia goes I can not and will not vouch for the rest of the state. Huntington is a nice place with a great University anchoring the town. I agree with all your WVU pictures, as far as I am concerned Pennsylvania can annex Morgantown. Like I said this will all be settled next week.

I wouldn't call a post such as that "classy". Just assuming that you would win is not classy. After the game, you might have been good about the loss, but that didn't stop other fans from complaining about the last TD catch. And you also can't assume that no Erie fans showed "class" after Huntington won the first game. I didn't complain or anything. You can check my post history.

I started the thread to have some fun; you guys turned it into name calling and attacking people's home state. I don't mind being prideful for winning the game but why drag in the other BS?
Here I will help settle this, how about a little bet. To any Erie fan that is man enough to take it; if the Heroes lose this week I will never post on AIFA Fans again, if the Rats lose any Erie fan partaking in the bet can not post till AIFA Bowl II. Any takers?

How about this, Erie wins, we get to dump cheap beer all over you. Huntington wins, you get to dump the beer. Wait, you already did that, never mind. I just love those classy gestures....

So no one has the guts to take the bet?

I would never take any bet with Huntington at home. Between the rednecks throwing beer, the dj playing through the snap count, the clock operator fudging the time and the lousy treatment we always get there, its never a fair game. At least this game the ref crew will be decent, the Head Ref, Jim Corpora, will be calling the game so that takes away some of the Zeroes advantage right there. And make no mistake, he is traveling over 450 miles to be there for a reason, and half the crew was recently replaced for the same reason. So the answer is no, I dont take fools bets. But I will however continue to bash your home state because its fun, easy and I just like telling the truth.

Any takers? Depending on the way you see it, name calling could be seen as having "fun". I do not condone name calling or attacking your state, but that is how things get with football. If you make a post such as the one you did (which some might call BS), you have to be able to deal with the responses you get. I'm sure you understand how football fans can be. I do not really want to take your bet. You can say that I am chicken, but I have something to lose where it seems that you don't. The only reason you began posting here was because of the two guys you posted videos about. They went to your college. If they weren't on the team, I doubt you would have made any posts (I could be wrong). All I am saying is: You don't really have a lot to lose from this bet. Besides, in the event that the Heroes lose, I would still like you to post. I don't want you to have to leave over some stupid thread. If you like it here, continue posting.

Ok, the Freeze is getting out of hand... posts that i would have been banned for and much worse... but anyway, I had to go with the team into the locker room as we had no trainer provided excecpt for a midget. I didn't know that Snow White lived in Erie.
Also I am happy we didnt eat at the outhouse, or "On Deck" whatever you call it. Just wait, the Freeze have to travel to Huntington this week.
As for WV jokes, wow!

It would be hard for a lot of us here to take that bet because of our positions on the message board, (Moderators, FAB Members, Pickem Participants, etc.) So unless you were to put a laundry list of conditions on the bet, it would be unreasonable.
But if you wanted to do a different kind of bet, in the spirit of the game and the AIFA, I'd be willing to take it.
For example, last season I bet Man The, Myth on the Canton/Erie game and after losing I had to wear a Legends jersey to every game the rest of the season!
Something like that would be doable, so give it some thought and let me know if you'd like to make a fun bet!

As for WV jokes, wow! First off..we are not the Freeze! We are the RiverRats. Secondly, what did you do in the locker room? Untape players, or just watch them? Our trainer goes to away games. maybe thats something you should consider. We had 3 trainers available. And I do believe one from the Otters came and assisted also. You eat roadkill and WV cooking, I'm sure food in a restaurant/bar would have been better than what you are used to. Travel to Huntington..........you stock up on beer and azzhole fans?
