Multiple sources have now indicated to me that former Legends head coach Bobby Olive will once again assume the reigns of the team.
Ed Korns will remain on as Coach Olive's assistant.

new investor/owner=bobby olive? his clothing line must really be doing well... I do not believe that is accurate, but, apparently, they have found some $$ somewhere. Stay tuned, most of it should come out within the next few days. Roster and staff changes are anticipated for this weekend's game. |

Bobby Olive is expected to sign a contract tonight to return as head coach, team owner Joe Hoffman said. Olive was the head coach for three seasons, leading the Legends to the 2006 AIFL title. The team also is talking to quarterback Kevin Mason about a return. Mason's return in 2006 sparked the turnaround of what was a .500 team at that point. Canton (0-6) has eight games left on its AIFA schedule and are three games out of a playoff spot. Hoffman said Ed Korns will step down as head coach but remain with the team as offensive coordinator and with the team's front office. Those loyal readers of AIFA Fans.com had this a full day and a half before any media outlet picked it up. Just another reason why aifafans.com is your one stop shop for everything AIFA and beyond.
