Does anyone know how many people came to the last game? It didn't seem like very many, maybe 1,500. I was just wondering if anyone had the official number. And we should have the wave at the next game!

The stat sheet from the game says 1548. I don't know if that is the "paid" attendence or not.

First of all, stable master that is an Augusta Greenjacket logo you posted not a brand ex logo as most of you refer to the former tenants. Second of all, where have you been? All of us have been preaching about attendance in addition to other things ill be glad to email you the list if youd like its over thirty pages. Third the Augusta Colts will never be in the same sentence as the Stallions they were top of the heap they had a staff of seven a bang up salesforce and the backing of the entire CSRA. Even those who refuse to acknowledge team x cant argue that they were fun to watch and kept the place packed. Yea they gave away a few tickets but they more than made up for it in other places. The buy 1 G1F ticket promotion was genius. The Colts in order to be sucessful are going to have to go into the towns, cities around Augusta. This maybe hard to beleave but the secret to sucess in Augusta isnt in Augusta its all over the CSRA. Ticket packages with a meal included and most all a friendly energy packed enviroment all the time. Youth Indoor football needs to return as this is real big where I live not uncommon to see 3500 on Tuesday night for one of their games. Most of all fans need to be assured they are appreciated and feel like they are part of the team. Thatsmy take on it and yes I know.

As a side note do all this and more and things will be in place for next year. Don't and Colts tee shirts will be on ebay soon. Run from the truth deny it but its there.

Yea well I dont know you but I appauled you for promoting the Colts. The Colts need fans that are dedicated and who are willing to show it in the community. Word of mouth is critical to the sucess of a team.

I agree. I do think that the buy one get one free ploy you mentioned before would be really beneficial for the team. Hopefully, the people who had the free tickets would come back to see another game

That's the idea....Do whatever it takes to get people in the seats.
Which leads me to a question, where is the Colts website? It hasn't worked in a couple days now. Not trying to start mass hysteria or anything, just asking a question.

Look brain trust of Augusta we have less than three weeks to the Canton Legends game to see if we cant find some more folks to invite to the game. Buy 1 G1F is a cool idea but maybe not right this second. Need to get on the horn call Ft Gordon and invite the military to come join us for the next game. Give them a deal they cant refuse reduced ticket prices we did at FT Jackson it will work here. Invite them to do a game ball relay into the stadium make the last leg ran by a wounded soldier and invite those famlies who have love ones recovering from the war wounds at Ft Gordon trust me it would be a huge A plus for everyone. See if Ft Gordon would loan you a color guard for the game. People love theme nights and action action you have to market this as a thrill a minute. Just some food for thought from smeone who knows.

For those of you who know me its time we all put aside our differences and band together for the good of the team. Sometimes you need to look at the whole package instead of the sub parts of the sum.
Anyway lets go folks Im pumped up. Im working to try and find someway to get a weekend party where we can all gather together and istien to the game. We need this it will build fellowship and go along way.

You can do it one of many ways we have taken a mike and put it up to a computer speaker because the sound quality isnt the greatest. You can also wire your laptop into the tv system in the conference room at work. Thanks www.cstore.net for the use of the boardroom it holds thirty so we could always meet there. you can also take a lap top and pug a bigger monitor in it. Might help if you could get games to be webcast more often and someone would brief the public more often but the system aint to far from repair. Last year we were averaging twenty at a few of these they were fun.
