Earl Vercher, the 3rd string QB and also a wide receiver has left the team. He basically walked. No explaination was given as to why he quit. I wonder if he was not getting paid??

Have they played a game yet? If not, then of course he would not have been paid yet. They are paid per game. In turn, it would be unfair to automatically assume the team(s) are not paying their players. It happens, sure, but this comment is a bit pre-mature and could be viewed as accusatory or defamatory.
Maybe he decided to weigh his worth elsewhere. Regardless of his reasons, good luck to him.

If you're 3rd string QB on an indoor team and it appears that you won't be moving up, you may be looking for somewhere else to play. 3rd string QB's usually don't find themselves on the active roster.

I really doubt that he'll be missed. It would be funny though if he started somewhere else and kicked Arizona's butt.

yeah, kinda have to go with everyone else here, teams usually don't have roster space for a 3rd string qb in the first place, and as far as i know, no league starts paying players till the first game. some good teams start the per diems and housing benefits as soon as camp starts but game checks logically wont roll in till games start getting played & AZ hasn't played yet, right?
whats the real story? he "walked" before he got cut? saw the writing on the wall quit, right?

Might be just a rumor, not sure, but i heard he walked cause frostbite was constantly heckling him at practice. A man can only take so much...
