Nice to see AZ Adrenaline coming together. Looks like they are recruiting a good base of talent with loads of talent in the PHX area to draw from. The west division could be a dog fight, can't wait for the 2008 season!!

Local product among early Adrenaline signings PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZ. (Dec. 17) – An area product and three former NFL players are among the first wave of player signings for the Arizona Adrenaline. After holding a player tryout in Phoenix on Saturday, the first-year indoor professional football team announced the signing of former Prescott High School wide receiver Micah Johnson, as well as ex-NFL players Nakoa McElrath, Paris Moore and Ty Evans. Johnson graduated from PHS in 2002 before playing four years at South Dakota University. He has tried out for several NFL teams, most recently the Oakland Raiders. McElrath, a wide receiver/defensive back, has stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks on his resume, while Moore and Evans, both speedy running backs who can also line up as receivers, were briefly with the New York Jets and Washington Redskins respectively. “We’ve been able to sign some players who will be great for the team and in the community,” first year Adrenaline head coach Andrew Moore said. “That’s one of the things that we’re striving for.” The Adrenaline will play their seven home games at Tim’s Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Ariz., with the season beginning in March and running through late June. The team can invite up to 55 players to camp, which begins in mid-February, but must trim the roster to 25 (only 20 active) by the beginning of the season. The Adrenaline schedule has not yet been released, but season tickets can be purchased now by calling 866-443-8849, or online at www.gettix.net.

Yes, the Phoenix market should serve the Adrenaline well.
