PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (November 20, 2007) - It's official. The Arizona Adrenaline is the new team name of northern Arizona's professional indoor football team. The Arizona Adrenaline, members of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA), will play all their home games at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ. The Adrenaline recently concluded a two week name the team contest, which had more than 750 entries from all over the state of Arizona. The Adrenaline also unveiled their team logo and their uniform team colors. The team logo and uniforms will feature black, blue and silver.

"The name Adrenaline was by far the most popular name with our fans, and is a perfect fit for the fast paced, high speed, and exciting brand of football that we will play in this league" says Jim Shipp Arizona Adrenaline General Manager. Our high scoring aerial attack will certainly keep our fans hearts pumping." says Shipp.

The Arizona Adrenaline 2008 regular season schedule will begin mid March and run through the end of June. The Adrenaline will play 7 regular season home games at Tim's Toyota Center. In the works are scrimmages with the Arizona Rattlers the Phoenix AFL team .

Adrenaline fans will also have the opportunity to meet with players on the field after games to further enhance the family experience. In addition to announcing the team name, the Arizona Adrenaline they have contracted with Get Tix for all team ticket sales. Arizona Adrenaline season tickets are now on sale and available to the public by calling Get Tix at (866 - I Get Tix, or 866-443-8849, or online by going to WWW.GetTix.net.

Arizona Adrenaline Join Cavs in AIFA

The Wyoming Cavalry is proud to welcome the Arizona Adrenaline in to the AIFA.

The Adrenaline will be part of the AIFA West expansion. Games will be played at the Tim's Toyota Center, located in beautiful Prescott Valley, AZ. According to Steve Conrad, Executive Director of Tim’s Toyota Center, “When we opened our doors, it was our goal to provide sports and entertainment to appeal to everyone in Northern Arizona. We’ve had a great year of concerts, family shows and hockey. As we move into our second year we are excited to bring even more sports entertainment to Northern Arizona. This new form of entertainment will once again place the quad-city area on the map, provide another level of sports entertainment to our communities and continue to position Tim’s Toyota Center as Northern Arizona’s premier entertainment venue!”

I give them props for having the guts to do this. Normally, it's not a good idea to name teams after chemical substances produced by the human body.

I like the name, and the logo's pretty good as well. I just don't get why the A looks like it has an L attached to it (the line with the heartbeat line above "LINE")...couldn't they have made that into a Z or eliminated it altogether? Unless AL is supposed to be the abbreviation for "AdrenaLine".

I see the logo as "AZ". To me, the left side of the A also doubles as the top of the Z.

Ah, I see it now...thanks. It's kinda like the Walt Disney logo, where some can see the "D" and others see a "G".....I like it completely now. lol

I didnt think of that but now that you mention it i do see the AL and as mentioned in another post i see the AZ too. Its not a bad logo and i think the name might grow on me.
