In the course of one day the website www.baltimoremariners.com/ went from non-existent to barely existent. The website now has an "down for maintenance" display as opposed to a DNS error. Hopefully in the upcoming weeks, we will see a new team site. |

We are talking about the new Mariners website. It has not finished being created yet. So I do not know what you are trying to get at. The site should be up and running next week. The site will just be lacking logos until a team logo can be designed.

My guess would be that that stuff was done ahead of time for both the possible names, why else would there have been a choice between one or the other. |

The logos were not finished for either team name. The site will indeed launch and the site will be operating pending logos.

Yeah...they could just build the website now and put the logos up later (like they did for the Carolina Speed last year)

Joe, As a polite reminder, if you don't want information on this site as to why the Blackbirds could not pay their players at the end of the season which may reflect poorly on the AIFA, it would be best not to slander the Blackbirds here.
