On the AIFA's main page there is now a poll to decide the name of the new Baltimore franchise. The names are down to the Mariners and the Steamers.
I am all for the Steamers, but we already use that name in Reading in reference to our dance team.

Those names are horrible. I vote for Baltimore Bulldogs. You could have one of those mean looking mascot dogs that have sharp teethe an a spiked collar...would be cool.
Steamers?? Like a hot steamer you drop in the toilet??
What is the mascot? That turd from South Park?
How about the Mariners? What would the logo and Mascot be?
Those are weird names...

LOL, just think what a cool logo the "Steamers" name could bring. You could have a big pot with boiling water in it, steam rising up & a crab trying to escape. I could just see it now.
Pray for the Mariners. I'd rather have ship personel as a logo than a crab. ;D
