Chris Simpson to Head New AIFA Team in Baltimore
Baltimore, MD….…Chris Simpson has been named the Head Coach of the new AIFA team slated to play at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore next spring.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for me to continue what I came to Baltimore for in the first place”, stated Coach Simpson. “I appreciate the trust that John Morris and Michael Mink have in me to build a winning program for this city.”
Morris and Mink, owners of the AIFA, and will also operate the new Baltimore franchise.
“Chris is the guy we wanted here to work with us”, Morris stated. “I believe, given the right tools, he can build a champion here. I’m really excited about next year, both for Baltimore and for the AIFA”.
Mink, former Head Coach of the AIFA’s Carolina Speed, will work with the team as the Director of Player Personnel and Offensive Coordinator. “Having both these guys working together is an awesome combination of coaching and experience,” Morris added. Simpson agrees, “Having this caliber of a coach working side by side with me is a great opportunity for both me and the organization”.
Simpson will begin work to secure his remaining coaching staff and Mink will begin work on recruiting players for the 2008 season. An announcement will be made within the next few days regarding the name and colors of the new Baltimore team.

At both places Stormz. This is the official leage message board. As soon as an AIFA Baltimore team website is up and running, information regarding tryouts will be posted there as well. Stay tuned! Hopefully within a week or so, we will know the team name and the website.

Is it just me or did anybody see what happened last year w/ this coach ?
The owners ofthe league must know this man personally or they owe him something for him to be back at the helm as head coach.After researching a little ,I don't how this guy keeps getting head coaching jobs w/ a record of 4-23.Okay.....Okay......even if the organization is not the most efficient and the players are not the cream of the crop he can't keep getting a pass or an exclusion from the rest of the organization.
But hey I guess we'll see huh?

LOL.............INSULT ?? Are you serious ?Why would you want to insult me (well try to insult me that is)?You may need to expand your vocabulary .....hint ....hint. Can we not give opinions on here ?That was a factual statement that I gave and anybody who's anybody knows that when you are coach wins keep you in and this guy just is not winning. If touched a nerve ,then tough deal with it.If he(coach simpson) is a friend of yours then you may need to let him know that real fans of the game are watching. |

Oh... you. I know exactly who you are. Funny that you did not use your other username that you use over at the Blackbirds site. You are very transparent. First of all, I am not a personal friend of coach Simpson, but I believe with the right tools and timing he will be the coach that leads the team to an amazing season. If you noticed the improvement that was made last season from the 1st half of the season to the second half, his talents as a coach are far better than you give him credit for. However, I will say this. Lets see how this season goes. If it turns out you are right, I will gladly eat crow. Until then, shut yer yapper. As for expanding my vocabulary.. f**k you.  |

On this board that may be true. But over at www.baltimoreblackbirdsfootball.com I am sure you are well known. You can deny it, but your rhetoric and verbiage is identical to that of a poster over there. As for your comment about losing coaches not keeping jobs... do you really want me to post a long, drawn-out exhaustive list of coaches who did not win their last season that returned to coach again the following season? Is that what you want? I will include this league, the NFL and every other league and every other sport. I do not think we have that kind of time though. So if you are gonna continue to speak out of your dumper, then go ahead. I am not gonna try to stop you. It just makes you look uneducated to both this league and every other league, both major and minor league. |
