I had a real good laugh with this one earlier... in case anyone of you are wondering where you might have heard these names before; John Wolfe runs helmetnation.com, the outfit that sponsors JT's EIFL and is selling replica mini-helmets of the teams, ahem, in his, ahem, league, cough cough. HE MAKES MINI-HELMETS PEOPLE. NOW HE'S A GENERAL MANAGER IN THIS LEAGUE. Daniel (aka Dan) Culliver is another JT lackey, brought to Steubenville by Jimbo himself and who was a regular on Farmer Jim's old radio show. Wow, nice front office...
Oh, BTW, Wolfe has already issued a release of his own stating the Blackbirds have received coaching applications from "a list of candidates that includes coaches with experience at all levels of football including NCAA Division 1, NFL, and all levels of indoor football." Riiiiiiiiiiight. And Ted Coleman was your first choice because of his flair for words when writing press releases in the third person.
And now... monkeys will fly out of my butt;
The Baltimore Blackbirds are pleased to announce they have filled the positions of General Manager and Assistant Coach/Assistant General Manager.
John Wolfe has been named the General Manager of the Baltimore club. John a native of Pasadena, Maryland is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County. An employee of the Department of Defense, John has over 10 years managerial experience as well as in-depth knowledge of project management, event planning, and ticket sales. Also, through his business, HelmetNation.com, he has built a wide breadth of knowledge in sports management and has been actively involved in indoor football for several years. John has over 30 seasons of coaching experience in a variety of sports including football at the youth and high school level.
Daniel Culliver has been named the Blackbirds' Assistant Coach/Assistant General Manager. A native of Youngstown Ohio, Dan was an All-Conference Honorable Mention Defensive Back at Fairmont State College in Fairmont, West Virginia. Upon graduation Dan became the defensive backs coach for the Division II Falcons. Dan also held positions as an admissions counselor and the recruiting coordinator for Falcons' Athletics. In 2006 Dan served as the Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach for the Steubenville Stampede in the American Indoor Football League.
