Ted Coleman, Blackbirds Fail to Reach Contract Agreement
Ted Coleman and the Baltimore Blackbirds parted ways after the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) team and Mr. Coleman failed to reach a contract agreement. Coleman and the Blackbirds felt that it was in both parties mutual best interest to take separate paths as the AIFA prepares to kickoff its season this winter. The Blackbirds are in the midst of their selection process and expect to name a new head coach in the near future. The Blackbirds will open camp in early February.

It's nice that they can open camp in February... while the other teams are already playing their games!

Maybe the Blackbirds can be featured on "The Amazing Race". Up against the Pirates to see who can get to Erie first, only to find the game is in Tallahasee which was moved from Montgomery to play a home game in Baltimore that they had to cancel because the arena was already leased to the Jehovah's Witness.

You forgot the part where the Pirates had to forfeit since they didn't give Baltimore game film... |

At this stage in the game they'll have to solicit a coach from the Pop Warner leagues. I would think that most proven & qualified candidates all have employment by now..........
