With a little less than six weeks before kickoff...who's coaching the speed? I also cannot find any roster information, ticket, nor any updated team information on the website...
Is there anyone on here that is near the Speed that has any info? I know Mink and Morris are using the indoor football scouting service to find players, but are they doing any marketing to promote the season?

i can say this much. Many teams are holding final tryouts this coming week. I'm sure once that is done the final rosters will be set. To my knowledge, they can have 30 players on their roster. So I would expect many updates next week.

Season starts in exactly one month... training camps should be starting this week, not still holding open tryouts, IMO.

How much of a factor has the earlier than anticipated start to the season been as a reason so many teams are so far behind?

There was more than enough time to prepare. Its these fly by night teams coming in late that are stinking up the place... And I agree with Sean, this is the time for training camps to begin. The Freeze will have its final tryout this Saturday, but we'll have plenty of time since we have a first week bye!!!  Gotta love the schedule! |

As I just pointed out in another thread... Johnstown will have exactly 18 days from their first day of camp till their opener vs. Canton. Unless they have 90% of last years team back, how do you get your team prepared to play the defending champs in two and a half weeks?

Okay Joe it's been over a week and no updates. The Speed website has ZERO information on it...no players...no staff...no ticket information....no dance team.....no information what so ever....
Who's going to be playing huntington opening weekend?

John Morris is also a coach. I'm trying to figure out what's going on as well. I'm supposed to be on the mini-camp roster but no one has told me what time mini-camp starts this week. Starting to get confused

Wow....a player doesnt know when training camp starts? Any other coaches besides Morris? What other players have been signed?
