It's playoff time. Homefield advantage is not as important as it may seem. The Mudcats will be focused. If you can't get pumped and focused for this game on the road then you are in the wrong business as a football player. Just ask Ben Dougherty and the Titans. The pressure is on Lakeland. Playing on the road is actually an advantage for the Mudcats. They won't have any distractions. They can solely focus on the game.

im soooo sick of people dogging us. we've done nothing but dominate people, yet no one around the league has any faith in us, these mudcats who we stomped a mud hole in still think they are a better team then us...hate to tell ya your not!!! Not only are we a better team, but we have better athletes. Just to prove it..i bet you didnt know that 14 of our 16 starters were selected for the allstar game by the coaches around the league, but the owners of the league would only allow 6 to participate. The only rebuttal that you have is ohhh we beat yall in the first game.....well only 7 of the players in that game are still playing now. Its a completely different ball game. I hope the mudcats bring there A game because there is gonna be at least 20 arena 1 and a.a.f.l scouts in the stands!

So the game in Tallahassee was domination? I wouldn't get to over confident this week. Mississippi has a much better offense then Lakeland. Lakeland must get pressure on Tommy Jones and create some turnovers. With a hurt QB, I don't see Lakeland being able to hang with Mississippi if it comes down to a shootout.

Tbolts40, I haven't seen anyone dogging Lakeland. I have seen a lot of people on this board say that it will be a great game, including myself, and say that lakeland should not get over confident because of the last victory over the MudCats. Lakeland is a great team. We all know that. The MudCats are a great team as well. We had a very bad game in Lakeland, but do not look for that to happen again. I wish I could be there for this one. It will be a fun game to watch!

If anything the fact that the teams lost to each other helps both teams because they know what not to do. So in other words and in simple terms it will be a close good game(I think-LOL). :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats: :smileymudcats:

The only good player they have is the kicker. Point is, doesn't mean didley. And from what I've heard so far on the webcasts this year. The refs play a major role in outcomes.

Yes, that's pretty bad - game officiating needs to improve if the league really wants legitimacy.

Looking at my morning paper I noticed that the MudCats/ThunderBolts is scheduled for Monday June 18th at 7:15pm. Doubting the ability of my local trash sheet to print things correctly, I went to the ThunderBolts website and confirmed my fears that this IS in fact correct!!!!!!! Unless it's an issue of building availability, this is MAJOR Talk about the wrong time to give a team a short week, limited time to prepare AND travel to a FULL week of activities leading up to the most important game of the season!?!?!?!?!?! I can't believe that the Lakeland Arena is booked on Fri, Sat & Sun!?!?!? This gives a distinct advantage to the North Champion. Two extra days to recover and prepare. With the exception of a longer "trip" to the Festivities, This could be a BIG factor to the outcome of the title game!

Exactly. Whoever wins the South won't be able to practice at home any that week. They will probably have Tuesday off and Wednesday will be a travel day. The first time they practice will be on Thursday at the earliest in Florence. This wil ultimately play a big factor in the championship game. Not to mention if Mississippi wins. They will have to Travel back home to Tupelo and then turn around and go to Florence. This is CRAZY.
