Just wanted to let everybody know about the Crawford Foundation (check out their website at www.crawfordfoundationinc.com ). I first heard about it last weekend in our game programs. It is a foundation began by our owners, Todd and Dena Ellis, in honor of Dena's grandmother, Elizabeth Ellis. It is designed to use athletes as mentors to help combat many of the problems youth face today. You can see on the website some of the help already given in Enterprise, Alabama. Now this is what community sports should be about. We love to watch the football games, but I really love to see the football team giving back to the community in a positive way. Makes me even more proud of the Mudcats! Do any of our other teams have something like this?
