Can't say ..at this time. But I can confirm that there might be another Florida team. Kind of an oxymoron, wouldn't you say?

I hate the titans left the AIFA, every team should follow their model of how to do things right, I know the WIFL is getting a quality team.

The player pay issue worries me. Beyond that, Tallahassee looks like a tight ship - if they got the underfunding thing out of the way, that team's got nowhere to go but up up up.

Honestly ... the Titans look to be no more. It pains me to type that, but with the financial issues (all stemming from poor ownership) the Titans are in such a deep hole, changing leagues wont do anything but prolong the pain and suffering. Still ... no players or staff has been paid. Still ... bills go to collection. Still ... the owner refusses to sell. The Civic Center wont allow the Titans to play without paying the 40,000+ it still owes. The town is tired of reading about no money. The offices have been closed for months. The phones don't work (outstanding bills).
I really hope something happens - and quick - because it was a lot of fun this past year. I'd hate to see the team go, but it'd be nice to see new ownership soon, though it looks like that will never happen.

I bought 5 season tickets....what do I need to do to get my money back? First of all, why? The WIFL's games were some of the most competitive in all of indoor football last year. Lots of very close games, and I believe their championship game was won (or lost, depending on your perspective) on the last play. Your opponents will be more regional, enabling you to see teams from cities closer to you, and maybe close enough for you to travel to as well in support of the Titans. The WIFL has a top-notch communications staff that gives out more information than you'd probably know what to do with, especially compared to the information-challenged AIFA. Give it a chance... but if you really feel that strongly about it, my guess would be to contact the team, not the messageboard, when trying to get a ticket refund.

Information challenged AIFA? Come on dude! AIFA puts out information when it is required. Do you want a press release every time a company orders a new brand of paper clips? You clearly have your own agenda Tatonka, whatever it may be. You constantly slam the AIFA at every turn. It is getting old. I am not even sure why you post on here. You slanted and biased point of view grows tiresome. Let the fans of the AIFA enjoy the product for a change.

The AIFA was information challenged this year. I'm going to say it again and again and again. There were hardly any press releases about games, and even when there was it was about 3 days after the fact.
Second Statistics were garbage. Say what you will about it being the team responsibility, the league has some responsibility to make sure the teams are doing their job.
Third, live scoring were performed by fans! Yes that's correct, by the fans. Will the league embrace the live scoring that I've created? I'd hope so, but i'm not holding my breathe.
Fourth, the AIFATV disaster. Everyone knows about it, so I'm not going to get into further detail. But just the lack of any insight in to about 90% of the games really hurt the league. Webcasts should have been in place before we shoot for the f'ing moon to have games on TV! To hell with watching the game if it's going to be a big POS. I'd rather have clear audio feed anyday.
There's your proof of being information challenged. And guess what, i'm not bias.

The AIFA was information challenged. Heck they barely even update their Web site. They give info about games about a week to late. The WIFL may be small but they do have some good things going on as far as media. They have a weekly show that is broadcasted on the internet and it is pretty good.
I loved being apart of the AIFA last year and wish we would have never left, but looking at the WIFL I see something that can work if they continue to build.

It doesn't matter what league a team is in, as long as they ARE IN ONE

If you'd like to start a topic on it, I'll gladly rail against the mismanagement in the CIFL as well since I'm pretty familiar with it. However, this is the AIFA board, so it only makes sense that I talk about the AIFA as much as possible. Show me something to clap my hands for, and I'll gladly lead the cheer...
