Titans receiver Miller up and moving as scans are negative Tallahassee Titans wide receiver Rod Miller was up and walking on Sunday, one day after he was injured in the third quarter of a 62-22 victory over Gulf Coast. Miller, a former Florida A&M standout, was taken off the field on a stretcher after he caught a pass over the middle and was hit by a Gulf Coast defensive back. Miller had seven catches for 112 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday.
Titans coach Keven Jackson said X-rays and a CT scan were negative and that Miller did not stay overnight at the hospital. Saturday's home opener drew an extimated 5,500 fans. The Titans (2-0) have a bye this week and will host Reading on March 3.
