WOW, These women are tough. The Lady Titans, 28 cheerleaders and 27 Dancers competed Sunday February 4, 2007 in a special United States Marine Corp endurance and strenght competition. The excitment was overwhelming. The ladies have trained for three weeks, every morning at 6 am with Officers and Cadets from the United States Marine Corp. This final competition was a team building experience as well as a test of their faith in themselves. The ladies completed an obstacle course designed by the Marines. This course cover over 1 mile with 8 drill stations, covering PT exercises from the Marine Corp. The ladies named their top 10 finishers, who then competed for the title of Commander. These strong courageous women showed everyone what strong work and a lot of heart can accomplish. Titans Owner Dave Morris, Head Coach Keven Jackson and Director of Media Relations Frank Porter were all on hand to cheer the women on. "We are extremly Proud of these women, they accomplished something today that will stay with them a lifetime-Misty Sullivan, Director of Operations" stated as she congradulated the ladies.
