God, someone makes one little KISS reference and they start crawling out of the woodwork. Big Red beat Tonawanda Cardinal O'Hara of New York on Friday 19-14 to go 10-0 for the fifth straight regular season. Which also extends their overall winning streak to 40-0 as they look to start the playoffs this Saturday. They host Cuyahoga Falls CVCA in Death Valley. Sykotyk

You just gotta lose your mind in Detroit, Rock City, good sy....
Oh yeah, my high school reports
THURSDAY: Daytona Beach Mainland 44, Oviedo Hagerty 7-- Bucs win 9th district title in 12 years on emotional night when Amari Williams wears the jersey number of his late half brother Avery Atkins and scores the final touchdown. While on radio, I say "lock it up" at least 5 times
FRIDAY: Spruce Creek 18, Deltona 14 -- Creek erases 14-0 deficit and wins a thriller. Chase Sofiak, expected to be one of the area's top QBs in pre-season, makes his first appearance since a pre-season injury AS A RUNNING BACK and daunts 20 yards for the game-winner...

Dan, I think I hear you calling, but I can't come home right now. The Plaster Caster on Christine(16) is wreaking hovok at the Firehouse.
Anywho, I caught your game up until halftime. A blowout up to that point.

Since we've turned this thread into the highschool scoreboard, I'd like to report that my Model Blue Devils turned in their second consecutive victory on Friday night .
The Devils ruined homecoming for the Temple Tigers amassing over 500 yardson the way to a 63-20 victory.
Quarterback Bear Crowder (yes that's the boy's real name) led the Devils with 9-13 passing for 182 yards and four touchdowns, while adding another 3 scores on 7 carries for 52 yards.
The Model defense, especially the line, played a phenominal game, probably due to coaching, allowing less than 100 yards on the ground before the JV group took the field.
At 3-5 overall 2-2 in the region the Devils are down but not out. With two more wins and a little help from some other teams, Model could slide into the fourth playoff spot for region 7-AA.
It would put them head to head with the #1 team in the state, but they would still be happy with the playoff birth.
OK, that's it. I haven't covered a game in a while, just needed to see if I still have it.
Get out this weekend and support your local highschool football team!!
