Okay, while the topic is on High School Football. Even though I root for Tupelo (because that's where I go) South Panola is the best team in the nation. They have the longest winning streak in the nation with 68 straight wins.
Back on topic. I hate to see the Thunderbolts go. I can't believe it really. When the champions back out it's a liitle disturbing.

I go to high school football games here in Columbus, but this week I'm going to see the Cottonmouths season opener.
There are some good teams here in Columbus(though my team isn't one of them). The only problem is that we play the same ten teams every year. It gets a little redundant. That will probably change with reclassifications coming up soon.

Back on topic. I hate to see the Thunderbolts go. I can't believe it really. When the champions back out it's a liitle disturbing.  The longest winstreak was Central Bucks West in Pennsylvania. It was at 130 something-0. But Prep beat them to take the championship. After their loss, every coach quit or was fired. |

uhhhh joe after they got beat their streak is over and as stated earlier south panola has the most consecutive wins in the nation

Concord De La Salle in California holds the record for longest winning streak in High School Football. Going 151-0 at one point.

lakeland plays WAY TOUGHER TEAMS than any team in tupelo......the talent for high school football here in florida is probably the best in the country along with texas-----lakeland played a game against the #2 team in the nation and beat them IN OHIO we are #1 in nation!!! This friday after a win over Ridge High, they will set the all time state record for consecutive wins at 54 in a row.......maybe i do know a little bit about high school football and do go to a few games huh?  Oh yea im not going to stop complaining about my team not being in the leage either DAYTONADAN why dont you lock it up and stop telling me to worry about high-school football last time i looked at this forum it was an AIFA FORUM go THUNDERBOLTS...everyone, check out my newest post, it will confuse the hell out of you like it has confused me |

Chill dude. I am simply suggesting that great football is being played in our respective communities other than the indoor variety and we need to support their efforts.
No need to go Nancy Grace on me or anyone for that matter. We could all be in San Diego right now with our houses on the verge of destruction.

Like I don't know the titles of KISS songs. Even though I am more partial to "Detroit Rock City" and "Hard Luck Woman" than I am "Lick It Up"....I'll do a sing-along later.
