What's the deal with this? Does this guy Jimmy Young know something that is being discussed? Are the bolts coming to the WIFL?

I thought this sounded kind of funny. Why would the defending champions pack up and head to a smaller league. They are a great team and I understand why the WIFL would want them, but I don't see this happening either.

IMHO, there is nothing else any league office could say when asked if one of it's member teams is moving unless it's already been announced. Imagine the uproar if M or M would say ... yeah, it's true. Lakeland is going to the WIFL. Not a smart move by any league. As usual, in the silly season, a great deal of misinformation gets floated out there to see the reaction. The only way you really know for sure is when toe goes to (composite) leather in March. |

A CaptainSissySkirt squaring off vs. Captain McShattypants? This board is better then expected.
From a travel perspective it would make sense for Lakeland to join the WIFL. Would you rather take 7 trips to Georgia and Florida or trips to the Carolinas and at least one trip up north? And unless something changes quick, someone has to play Wyoming.

It is all bunk! We are in the process or doing a little re-organizing at the Bolts but will be playing in the AIFA this coming season.
