King Named Phantoms Vice President of Operations
01/07/08 - American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) Florence Phantoms
The Florence Phantoms are proud to announce the appointment of Bennie O. King as VP of Operations for the upcoming 2008 season in the AIFA.
Bennie comes to the Phantoms after serving as General Manager of the Lakeland Thunderbolts who last season captured the league championship in Florence last June defeating the Reading Express 54-49.Prior to working with the Thunderbolts Bennie served in the Game Operations Department of the Charlotte Bobcats and has worked with the Orange Bowl Committee as well as the Miami Dolphins.
"I am very excited about joining Florence and building a winning organization that the people of Florence can be proud of",King said."I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead winning a championship in Lakeland last year was very special.I'm very confident in the ownerships commitment to Florence as well as Coach Clayton the South Division 2007 Coach of the Year.

The Phantoms will be conducting there final open Tryout this Saturday Jan 12th at 10:00 am at the Brynes School. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the cost is $50.00.
