I wish the best for the Demolition, too bad they won't be closer to Danville. Not that Indy is that far away, but it isn't close by. we'll see maybe I'll have a team after all.

Wow good deal! Hopefully the ownership is better this time around. So we went through a season without having a team fall in to the "folded" status. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going.

I havent seen the arena but its in downtown Indy. all three stadiums are in the same place, rca dome(colts) fieldhouse(pacers) and demo stadium should be a very nice season with the new owner involved who I was able to talk to at the all-star game but whenever i recieve any new info Demo fans will be the first to know!!!

What is it with people from South Bend ruining indoor football? If Justin Gettys and Kris Underwood come calling, run... run away very fast... The Joyce Center in South Bend has been undergoing some hefty renovations, should be nice, and busy, once it's completed. The Pepsi Coliseum in Indy is a part of the state fairgrounds I think... hockey team there was not very receptive to a football team coming in and the arena indicated it would not be forthcoming with good dates; hockey team got priority. Hope it works out though... maybe these mysterious investors we've been hearing about in Springfield will resurrect the Stallions so you can have 'em back. Will make the road trips easier and the Freeze can get another win...

The Pepsi Coliseum is an Indianapolis landmark. Built is 1939, it has hosted countless historic sporting, political and musical events through the years. Currently, the Pepsi Coliseum is home to the Indiana Ice hockey team and is Indiana's largest and oldest continuing public ice skating rink. When the ice is out, livestock exhibitions, rodeos and circuses call the Pepsi Coliseum home.
To illustrate a previous point... from the Super Bowl thru mid-April, the Indiana Ice controlled all but three Saturdays, and once May hits sh!t starts getting REAL crazy with livestock and other fair-related activities. Similar to the Farm Show Building in Harrisburg...
The Joyce Center is an 11,418-seat multi-purpose arena north of South Bend, Indiana. The arena opened in 1968. In the fall of 2006, the University announced major renovation plans for the Joyce Center. The south dome, which houses the basketball arena, will undergo a $24.6 million renovation and will be renamed Purcell Pavilion, after Phillip J. Purcell, a Notre Dame alumnus and trustee. The capacity though will go down from 11,418 to 9,800.
No one seems sure yet if the floor will be large enough after the renovations to accomodate an indoor football field. Of course, there's always the auxilliary wing...
The north fieldhouse serves as a multipurpose sports center. The ice arena, which can seat 2,667 fans, is home to the Irish hockey team as well as several community hockey leagues and figure skating clubs.

How far is it from Danville to Indy or the proposed new playing site? Too far for the current Demo fans to still support the team?

According to Google Maps, it takes about 100 minutes to get to Indy from Danville. That's probably too far for the Demolition to count on any support attendance-wise from Danville. It would pretty much be like Johnstown fans supporting the RiverRats.
