Ok now that I have had time to cool down a little, I would like to say sorry to the rest of the teams and the league for having to put up with all the BS that came out of Danville this year. I really had high hopes that they would have made something out of this, however small it might be. The good thing though I guess is that they arena hasn't banished football from returning. They are willing to look at another owner (a little closer this time hopefully). So to all the people out there with money to throw away, I know of a football team for sale that has a potentially great fan base to go along with it.

The arena is willing to have the sport, and the city of Danville deserves a better organization, whatever league it may end up in.

I do hope to see indoorball back in Danville someday...And I hope the owners can acquire the rights to the Danville Demolition name!
If not, I'll just set up a team in my Internet Indoor Football League with that name!

(I am Minor League Man on OSC, owner of the Racine Rhinos, Kenosha Barons, and newly acquired Danville Demolition-I've terminated the Dayton Wings because the owner isn't taking this seriously) Anyway, I just wanted to name you and your brother the new CIFL Directors (Bill Mothershead is a busy man, and I am freeing up his time sked a bit more) Do you accept?

demofan, you could always go to the owner and ask if you can buy the rights to the name, just for the hell of it.

Don't be so sure about the Demolition just yet, The Demolitions' new owner was in Florence and so was Head Coach Willie Davis. They also had 2 players participate in the All Star Game. We heard some things about them being thrown out of the arena in Danville. But we could not confirm it. We also heard of the possible new location of the Demolition if they don't return to Danville. But I don't think it would be fair to say where if there's still a chance they could return to Danville. I am hoping they return to Danville. I think they could make it work there. But they desperately need a team in the area. I wish Miami Valley hadn't jumped to the CIFL because they would have filled that gap nicely.
Be glad in knowing that they were IN FLORENCE! That alone speaks volumes for the franchises future. Because not all of the teams had someone there. And NOW that is raising a LOT of new questions.
KEEP THE FAITH!!! :smileydemolition: GO DOZERS!!!

I think the arena made it clear in there interviews and press release the Demolition are done in Danville. I would find it hard for them to back pedal and say oh now they are back. If they were to change names and have no ties with previous team such as staff and operations then maybe.
By the way who is the new owner? someone from Danville? If I were them after how bad the organizations rep. has been trashed by previous ownership I would want to get the news of new ownership and bright future out as soon as possible.

How did those two make the all-star team??? #3 (Wells) was individually responsible for about 50% of all TD's against us..couldn't cover a grapefruit with a wet blanket!! Gave about a 15 yard cushion on a short field everytime! And #90 DC Crop? Didn't he only play in a couple games?? What's with that? Was the league kissing up to JC??

There could be legally signed contracts..................

Contracts have out clauses, One of the reports indicated that the Demolition owed thousands (how many dont know) to the arena this depending on the way a the contract is written can be grounds for termination of agreement. I am sure that the Arena has a solid leg to stand on if the GM decided to terminate the contract. If he didnt have grounds then he is screwed but i would imagine he covered all the bases before doing his press conferences.

Personally who ever this demoman may be I think your a total punk why are you hidding behind your name. and I wasnt the fault for people scoring points it was our bunk ass offense that couldn't score if they had 8 on 5 they still would of found a way to not score!!! so before you start bashing teammates look at yourself and ask what you did this season me I had 10picks so I guess that was good enough for some people. all yeah this is #3 defending himself so who are you punk?
