Well the team's message board is back up and running (with censorship in place). I read the Administrator's thread and at the end of it I had to laugh. It said " I am re-opening the forums. Please stick to the topic, you know who you are." I assumed this may have been directed to me for 2 reasons (hopefully I am wrong): 1) I am one of the few people who regularly posted to the board and 2) My last post questioning the degrees the front office held has been removed. So I replied to the post and asked if it was directed to me. The next screen stated that all post will be reviewed by the moderator prior to them being posted. This board doesn't censor comments does it?

Bremmer was really Christner's pawn in the whole thing. If you have ever talked with the guy for more than 5 minutes you know what your getting with him. He was a good guy that just had no social skills. Bottom line is he just wanted to fit in somehwere.
My personal opinion is that Christner wanted someone to take the bullets for him. If it wasn't for Bremmer there wouldn't have been a lot of the road trips. He was always the one who stepped in and made the hotel reservations and lined up the bus. (Not a big surprise that he didn't make the Pittsburgh trip.) Because it was always last minute and Christner was no where to be found, Bremmer would pay for the trips by himself. I'm sure that he will be reimbursed, though.
I would say Bremmer is a big reason why the whole thing became a wreck. He was racking up a lot of debt and started having family issues he needed to take care of. He stopped doing all of Christner's dirty work and it wasn't getting done. That is why the last couple of road trips were so awful. Christner actually had to do something with the team and this is a result of his fine ownership managing.

From the Demolition website: For anyone who saw the late news on News Channel 15, you already know what happened. All players and all coaches are paid in FULL. We do not owe them any money. We were instructed to release the entire team and the coaches by league officials because of physical violence, threats and general disciplinary problems. The threats were made to league officials by some of the players and these officials have been in touch with their attorneys and are considering legal action. Hey John!!! Isn't check fraud subject to prosecution??? How about theft of services??? How about taking $53.00 from a fan for a jersey that was never produced??? There's even rumors that one of the sponsors is suing you.... And isn't releasing a coach who is under contract without compensation for the rest of the season breach of contract??? What physical violence?? There's been no reports of any physical violence, damage to hotels/apartments, trouble in town (except for your own boy, Bremmer suggesting the trip to the strip club which I know is FACT). The police were at the "mass release" and they reported nothing! What are you going to get legal about??? Seems like these boys are the ones who need to sue! Any attorney's out there want to volunteer? I would in an instant!

Just as I suspected. There is no way that the administration was clever enough to come up with this idea on their own. Kind of sad when you look at the ability of people to control others to do what ever they want. Christner is just a minion of the league officials and the Demolition front office is a bunch of minions under Christner. That must mean the players are supposed to be the minions under the front office.
I guess the problem here is that the players were simply wanting things done the right way and didn't play the game of "you must do what ever we say" because of the title on our name tag.
Why didn't the administrator reference the news story on Channel 3? Oh, probably because they actually checked their sources and realized the owner had lied to them on the air about the whole thing. Channel 15 didn't do that. I guess that is why no one watches Channel 15.
I am starting to notice the more the owner and front office try to defend themself, the more incompetent they look.
Here's some advice to the front office. STOP TRYING TO DEFEND YOURSELF. You got caught up in your lies and your starting to look like you have no idea what you are doing. (Which is much worse than not knowing what you are doing and no one knowing about it.)

thetruth: sound advice to the owner and his flunkies but I doubt they will listen. I have learned over the years that people who get by in everyday life making excuses and reasons for their own short comings, never really face them. they just continue to build a portfolio of excuses as thick as a brick (or John's head in this case). Like I said before,,, this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as this debacle is concerned. Christner, Bremmer and Willie Davis will eventually all get caught up in it and their reputations will be ruined. If I was them, I wouldn't threaten legal action on the players because all reports indicate they did nothing wrong. Management can't say the same thing...... By the way,,,has anyone seen Timmy lately?

No kidding. It's amazing they will go out of their way now to update the website to try to save their butts, but couldn't do it to benefit the fans. This seems to be the typical actions of the management. Plus I still can't post to their boards.
