First off I have to say sorry Joe for my comments. Talking without thinking. Just venting off. I have much respect for you even though that comment didn't display it. That was a of a comment. There is alot of things that go on behind the scenes I understand that but the ones that help out don't want to be behind a curtain with earmuffs on either. Like I said before I give you nothing but Good Luck to the ExpressFans and hope this time around you can make it work alot better Gene. I think that we didn't quite get the ball rolling quick enough last year and that could have very well been alot of my frustration. And as for the comment of the fans that are just riding on the train, I have been on the train from day one myself and Ron were one of the very first season ticket holders and I intend to stay one as long as they are here in Reading. Again I am truely sorry Joe I was on the comment and I appreciate this board and all the guys that keep it running. All is cool. You are just lucky I didn't have an "assnoodle" sign. lol

this thread really went off at times...anyway...roster signing final date is may 22....also there is a lot more to this entire danville story that you all will never know about...i know i know you want to hear all, but as i have said in the past there are certain front office things that just won't be repeated to the public....don't beat me up on this just accept there are things your not gonna be told....just like at your jobs, i'm sure upper management doesn't share every tid bit of information with all it's employees...rest assure as i am being told there will be a game in reading on june 2 against danville So, let me get this straight. First the date for freezing rosters was May 12th. Then May 17th. Now it's May 22nd? It must have got changed to allow "replacement" players to fill certain voids.

Are people really buying this "determined owner" bit?
Why would an owner drop half of his team and coaches with only two games remaining? (After all, they are an expansion team with most of the team not having any indoor experience.)
If they are looking to the future, why would an owner get rid of his only Division 1 players? (He was quoted as saying the players were released because they could not compete at the professional level. Look at who he released. The players that were released played at Penn State, Western Illinois, Ball State, Purdue, Illinois State, and Illinois. Oh and by the way one of the players released had played in the NFL, AFL, and AFL2. In fact he turned down AFL offers to play in Danville because he was loyal to the coach. But of course he didn't find out about the offers until a few weeks after the fact because the "dedicated owner" did not relay the message. )
I thought this league was supposed to help players get to the next level. If that is the case then why are owners and front office personnel not letting players know about offers from other leagues?

The only thing the owner has been determined about is hopefully making a quick buck. He has been about worthless since day one. I hope the rest of Danville gets a chance to find out about the truth and not just what the owner wants them to hear.

I just tried to go to the message board for the Demolition and I got this message "Joomlaboard needs to (re)establish your access privileges before it can create a list of the latest posts for you.\nDo not worry, this is quite normal" Maybe I hit a person nerve? I guess if the comments generated by the recent actions of the owner weren't somewhat valid we could post again. Guess he doesn't like hearing the truth.

Demoman, Thetruth and EMTP82, I have a question I dont know a 100% answer to and maybe you can clear it up since you all 3 seem to be close to the situation. All reports (paper,Tv, Etc.) Mention only JOhn Christner as the teams owner and him pulling the strings on this whole situation but doesnt he have a partner? Another guy I think the website said John Bremmer VP of internal affairs? If this is in fact true shouldnt there be an event amount of frustration and anger towards all involved. This John Bremmer or what ever his name was used to work at Ryan's the buffet place. He obviously the way he looks and dresses has no money. So I am just curious I had a couple people tell me they saw him on the news the other day saying he wanted to bring Professional indoor footbal, Hockey and Basketball to the Arena here. If so this guy appears to be completly off his rocker and should be locked up in the psych ward. If you can shine some light on this guy. Is he serious or full of

Everything that I have heard seems to have John Christner involved, I might be wrong, but that has been the impression I have received. I think I had heard that the Bremmer guy is more of a "minor owner" so I don't know how much influence he has with decision making with the team.
