 Man, our fans came out in FULL force this past Saturday night for the scrimmage. I heard more than one player/coach mention make a comment as to how many fans were in attendance. I believe we'll have 5,000+ fans for opening night and heck, dare i say 6,000?
As i understand it cut downs will be Sunday when the team will be down to the league limit of 30 players.

The team was called the Bay Riders or something. There were some nice hits. The scrimmage was pretty cool.
I know that there are some guys anxiously waiting to find out if they made the team. Micheal Mink was even at the scrimmage to see how things were going.

You're not kidding. We were pretty much 2 deep the 60% of the rink were the spectators were allowed to be. I'd say 300+? (but I'm not the best judge of that)

They were called the Delmarva Bayriders. As i understand it they are an independent team this year and will join either the CIFL or AIFA next year in 2009. The CIFL is more likely since its cheaper to join. I had to pity them as they all drove 3 hours seperately to the scrimmage. The team didnt take a bus and in talking with their coach they said they couldnt get one.
