After a very successful off season, we are looking forward to try and bring a championship back to Reading. While you anxiously wait for the season to start here are some of the events that will be happening during the 2008 season:
• We are having our Open House/Kickoff Party on Thursday, January 31st from 5-7 p.m. at the Express/Berks Fire Water Restorations offices located at 350 Bern Street in Reading.
• The Express will play all their home games this season on Procak Associates Field in the Sovereign Center.
• The day before every Express home game their will be a tailgate party from 5-7 at Hooters in Wyomissing. Come out and meet and greet the Express players, dancers, and coaching staff.
• After every Express home game there will be a post-game party at The Works in Wyomissing. If you bring your ticket stub from that night’s game, you will receive $2 off the club cover charge. Meet all of the Express players, coaches, and Steam Team!
• At every Express home game a few lucky contestant will kick for a chance to win a Dodge truck courtesy of Savage 61 Dodge. Contest details to follow. All proceeds go to charity.
• If the Express scores 50 or more points this season, Tailgaters Steakhouse, located on Pricetown Road in Fleetwood will provide a free item on their menu for the following week with a valid ticket stub. (Menu item not determined yet)
