The first ever meeting of an Eastern Conference Team vs. a Western Conference Team is set.
The game will be March 22 with a 1PM Kickoff and the game features
The Arizona Adrenaline vs. The Reading Express
Express Fans, come on out and get your first chance to see one of the AIFA's Western Conference/ Western Division Teams.

Well so much for keeping the western teams in the west..... I thought the West was supposed to be like the WIFL this year. Considering they do have 4 teams, why are the Adrenaline playing a non conference game when the other 3 aren't? It's only fair if all 4 teams play another conference team.

2 answers here:
1. turf , give me a call closer to the game
2. who ever said the west had to stay in the west...teams have open dates to do with what they want, as long as both teams agree to terms and the lg. approves our choices...we had a open date in march and we asked the lg. and the west if they wanted to play a game....

Wouldn't you want to play a southern team or another divisional foe? Instead of getting an easy win? I'll predict the score now. Reading wins 95- 34

my decision to play a game has nothing to do with a win or loss...it's an exhibition game and it's an AIFA team....and we wanted to get the west more involved and we were working closely with Wyoming, but as i said , at the Lg. meetings last weekend, myself the Wyoming and Arizona owners sat down and discussed the game and we agreed on Arizona coming...however so i can end the dead horse beating here...we researched every team playing or not playing on the date our schedule is open and the only team not playing on the weekend in the south/north and east of the 22nd is Baltimore (who we already play 3 times)...and all the west teams are available on march 22, due to not opening up on march 28...all the terms were agreed to and my fans are being provided with an 8th home game...our choice , our decision to work this way...can it not be over analyzed past this

I can't see the point in stirring the pot with what is fair and what isn't. I was told that life isn't fair, if it were I would be rich and have a hot wife. Unfortunately, I have neither. Hows that for fair 81?

I know there was issues with that last year. Thank you for being detailed with your answers, seriously.

Hows that for fair 81? It's the king! But there will be no hailing to you sir. I stir the pot because I can. I hope that's a simple enough answer for you. If no one poked at the beehive once and a while, then what's the use. Btw, welcome to the board.

I got to talk to their game day director a few times, his name is Curtis Hall, and I want to meet him. His wife runs their dance team. He is ex-navy seal and Im ex-navy so we hit it off pretty good. Plus any time I can get to Reading its a good time. You guys are good people.

thats all i cared about, does the extra games count in the W/L columns? It was indeed an issue in the past with Reading and Huntington. Reading because they played tons of games, and Huntington because an extra loss when they played in the Charity Bowl. I see nothing wrong with playing an extra game or two... i just wish they could all be pre-seasonal, but thats impossible right now I know. I know if Huntington had an extra home game, I would be there cheering for a win, no matter if it didnt count.

Both teams would rather play instead of taking a bye week. It a business thus an extra week of revenue....
