The Reading Express added some holiday cheer to several area organizations last week. On Thursday December 20, the Express visited the Children?s Home of Reading. General Manager/Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski and linebacker Matt Sola spoke to the group of kids there and presented them with three Playstation 2 consoles along with some PS2 games. In addition, Nowotarski and Sola signed autographs, as did Ashley and Erica from the Steam Team.
The next day the Express helped more young children in the area by donating toys to the Toys for Tots campaign. The Express were one of several local organizations that participated in this worthy cause.
