Any EXPRESSFANS going to any games? Only 10 home games in a 20 game season. I wont buy season tix but i will get the single ones cause i probably cant make all of them especially as the Express season overlaps.
I did make a fansite for the Railersfans and am trying to get ahold of owner Kay McGee to make her aware of it.www.railersfans.comwww.railersfans.com/forum

Wow, that's gotta be the shortest regular season I've ever seen for basketball, at any level.

I think I have to pass. B-Ball is 4th on my sports list. I wish them the best and hope it catches on though.

Wow, that's gotta be the shortest regular season I've ever seen for basketball, at any level. Yea its only a 20 game season and a 10 team league. So far there are 2 more expansions slated for 2009. I follow all our local sports here.
Heres the link to the league site: www.pblproball.com

Basketball & Hockey. Its a tie cause the seasons are too long. 3. Baseball. I cant last past the 6th inning.
That said, i have only been too 1 Royals game in the past 2 seasons after having season tix for the team the 1st 2 seasons. I just lost interest due to the callups and the nets behind the goals. I only sit in the attackzone and after the nets went up i was done. With the R-Phils i have only ever been to 3 games. Baseball is more enjoyable to me on tv or the radio as background. What i do like about the Express and the Railers are the shorter seasons. Not too sure if basketball will take off in this town but we'll find out shortly....

Basketball isn't my cup of tea. I'd rather see Michael Bolton in concert. And that's saying alot.

Its funny, i used to get the same response over on the Royals message board. While alot of our fans are also Royals fans there are many many Royals fans who hate the Express for the same reason. As much as i have tried to get some of those haters out to a game they didnt go. I did get a few though and they have gone to a few more after & enjoyed it.

Still, it's basketball. I can think of a lot of better things to spend my money on. It's great for the people that are a fan of the sport though. I'm just glad that the city can provide something for everyone.
Now if they start a Curling league, I am there.

I may catch a game when they do the double-header games with hockey.

I may catch a game when they do the double-header games with hockey. I havent checked both the Express & Railers schedules to see if any of their games overlap but i wonder if they'll do a doubleheader type of thing?

I don't think there are, you think those two would be easier to have back-to-back.

My top preference used to be baseball. After College, and before I had a real life, I attended a bunch of R-Phils games. One season I even attended 71 games (of a 140 game season (60 in Reading, all 10 in Harrisburg (my wife, then girlfriend was living near there that year) and 1 in Baltimore (Municipal Stadium, Bowie Baysox, before their stadium was finished)))
Since then it's switched more to football, with Hockey & Baseball being tied for second, and Basketball being a distant third.
That being said, I've only attended a few Royals games myself (I think I'd be more inclined if they were Flyers affiliates)

well that's the great thing of being here in reading...you do have a choice of the big 4 in professional sports right here in your backyard....i' have been working closely with the front office of the railers to help them get started..i wish them all the luck in the world...and we here at the express are behind them...we are working together to cross promote some stuff...i actually know that one night during our camp, Kay and i have arranged for all our players to be at a game and our dance team will be performing at halftime...i believe the feb. 28th game and in return we will have the railers players at one of our games...Good Luck and Welcome to Reading
