Reading Express GM/Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski announced today that this past Saturday night 2 year starting Offensive right guard Mark Stout has signed his 2008 Express player’s contract. The three offensive Diesels this year feature; Mark “Big Show” Stout a 6’7” 330lb right guard and the middle anchored by 6’5” 365lb Adam “A-Train” Hoffman and to the left will be 6’10” 370 lb Chris “Colossus “Nunn. Mark played his college ball at Sacramento State and his High School football at North High in Bakersfield, California. Mark is a 6 year arena football veteran, with 1st team All-League honors in 2006 and Honorable mention in 2007. He was also part of the Tennessee Thundercats National Championship indoor football team, coached by Ollie Guidry. “Mark brings plenty of indoor experience to our team, along with his size and football knowledge, Mark should prove beneficial to our younger players.” said Nowotarski. The offense line is definitely improving with this year’s signings. We are bigger, stronger, faster and more experienced than previous seasons. With hard work, this line should do a great job protecting our QB.

I can't wait to see Stout in an Express uniform again. He is a class act both on and off the field. Let's get the season started already.
