if you wanna use the nfl analagy: they release theres in april a full 5 months before the season opener. in past 2 seasons the aifl/a has started in feb so that would mean a september schedule release date. rumors of not starting till march means the aifa should have had their schedule out this month (5 months prior to kickoff) nice analagy genious. and where have i shown my impatience i think thats the first or the second time at most that i've asked about a schedule. i'm not waiting on pins and needles they released the tv opener and i simply asked if they know that bmore and reading are playing the opner when will the schedule get released - simple straightforward question. then joe had to make the stupid response that it will be ready next week but we the public won't see it what a stupid comment i don't car when the teams know their schedule i asked when we'd see one. you guys are one jumpy bunch of cats just answer the question since you all have the pipeline to god and quit berating the fans of the league. Theres an email link right on the official league site. Why dont you just ask them directly.....And no ones "jumping" anyone. I did see elsewhere on this board where you were asking about the schedule. I also dont see any "berating" going on either other than the "genious" wise crack you made at me........

Games do not start until March. It is October(5 months away). For someone that doesn't have a team anymore, sure is a bit overly concerned about a schedule. I don't know of anyone that plans what time and channel a game is on tv five months before it airs. We appreciate your concerns about everything lately frosty. But, try to look at things more openly. I can tell you this. You will not see Erie on tv next year. I hope that answers your question.
As Gene stated. Email the league if your not happy with answers here.

I actually read the date wrong. I didn't realize that the press conference is actually set for next Monday. Maybe I can sneak out of work to attend it. Does anyone know how long they typically run?

I actually read the date wrong. I didn't realize that the press conference is actually set for next Monday. Maybe I can sneak out of work to attend it. Does anyone know how long they typically run? I cant see much more than an hour, at most, for the main announcement. The 2 i went to before when they announced the team and the other when they announced the owners and Guidry as coach, those didnt last more than an hour.

I just got back from the press conference. They showed off the new mascot which is actually a vehicle that looks like an engine and it has 4 T-shirt canons on it which is pretty cool. They also announced that Reading will be hosting the first Nationally televised game against Baltimore along with a new sponsor and field name. Gene was there and I am sure he'll update everyone in detail and make sure to listen to the weekly radio show for more details.

Picking up where Ron left off the team also announced a new "field" sponsor for next season. I couldnt quite hear the name right since the press conference was outside and a few cars blaring music drowned out the announcement, lol. So, we'll announce it again once we clarify the actual name.
I also had a chance to look over the schedule. We play Baltimore 3 times, 2 at home and the last game of the season which is a Monday night in Baltimore. Another game to mention is that we play Wyoming, once in Reading and once at their place. The rest of the schedule features mostly Saturday night games so it is a very pleasing schedule. Once they post it we'll all have a better chance to look it over.
*The Express field will be now known as Procak Associates Field

Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get from Reading to Wyoming on a bus? LOL, well i think you guys will be flying out there. I know the league was working on an airline deal for the west teams. Not sure if it would include this game or not? I asked John Morris and Jack Bowman about it again today and they said they are still working on it.

How is Loco gonna feel about wearing a steel full size locomotive? It'll be more comfortable than a cup. Not that I'd know. I'm a filly. :smileydemolition: Those who got to see the new locomotive in action at the Hamburg King Frost parade know it's the real deal. I've been in hundreds of parades over the years and this engine is amazing. The BFW crew built the whole thing themselves! It's all steel, no cheap materials, folx. At the parade they had a video projector running film footage from the engineer's cab, to a big screen mounted between goalposts. Music was blaring from suh-weet speakers, there was detailing, detailing, detailing. I told Ted when my kid has his third birthday I want the engine for his party. Although, daddy might want it for his birthday too. This is a BOY's TOY to the nines!!!
