I'll be a fan of the northern conference representative whomever that may be  Seriously, though, even if the Legends make it, I can't leave until the Thursday night before the All-Star Game, so I'll be driving. At this point, yes, I am planning on going. Correction: I'll root for whomever the northern conference representative is unless they play Tallahassee. Then I have to root for KJ. Florence for the games, a couple of days in Myrtle, back home. |

Ok gang, i have gotten a fair amount of requests to look into a bus trip to go down to Florence and so far this is what i came up with. Understand this is just an estimate but should be moderately accurate.
The bus would leave on Friday morning so you could get down to Florence in time for the All-Star game. Therefore, we also have to pay for the driver to stay overnight. Current price would be around $3300.00 for a 47 passenger bus. Roughly comes out to $70 per person if we get 47 to fill it up, if not it would be more per person. In addition we must buy the driver a room so add a few bucks onto that as well. All gratuities are already included in that price too. This price is straight from the bus company, i havent added any on for aranging this.
The problem here is availability. They arent sure they are gonna have a bus for ya's on that date since this is kinda late in reserving one. I have calls out to other bus services so i'll see what else comes up.
All those who are interested in going should email expressfans@dejazzd.com. This way i can get more of an accurate head count. If we get enough people & if there is a bus available then we can start taking deposits for the trip.

One question:
If Reading doesn't make it to the title game by some aberration, could the fans get a refund if they wanted to?

From Reading to Florence in a car that gets lik 25MPG you should be able to get down there on like $120 in gas (roundtrip). Split that between 4 people to a car and it will be much cheaper and you're not stuck on a bus.
