Think you got what it takes? Do you want a chance to play professional indoor football? The Reading Express is having open tryouts Sunday, September 24th. This is an open tryout to any former football player, current football player, or anyone interested in playing football.
Itinerary
9:00 a.m. Registration
10:00 a.m. Testing begins
12:00 p.m. Individual Drills
2:00 p.m. Wrap Up
Testing
40 yd dash, Verticle Jump, Pro Shuttle, Individual drills
Positions evaluating
QB, WR, RB, OL, DL, LB, DB
Kickers will be tested at another location

$65 (Cash only)
What to wear
Shorts, T-shirt, turf cleats or sneakers (both if you have both)

Yea, its kinda messed up but i think i know where they are coming from on this. Having the best record it would be like being the Division Champs in the NFL. But since the AIFL doesnt have conferences and refers to their alignments as Divisions, it really should be Division Champs for the Express and Conference Champs for the Legends.

It's like Joe and Scooter using "2005 Regular Season Champs" as a platform for the Freeze last year. Once the playoffs start, who cares what you did in the regular season?

If there were more than one division in each conference, then I can see declaring a "division" championship. You're right, they do it in MLB, NFL, etc. The North and the South were the only 2 divisions/conferences, and the respective "champions" of those met in the title game, it's misleading to call one team a division champ when they didn't represent their division in the championship game.
