Shimadajoe-I just spoke to three players from the Riverhawks 2007 team. Not one of them was paid for the last game in Baltimore. I would be careful looking to purchase tickets for the 2008 season when coaches, players, office personnel, the mascot and numerous businesses in the Johnstown area have not been paid for the past season. The owners need to step up and make things right for the past two seasons before planning for 2008. I also spoke to a player who represented the team in SC and he was not paid for playing in the All-Star game. Players are looking into and some have filed charges against the owners for the bounced checks and "missing checks" from the 2007 season.

Mike Dawson aka "itellthetruth" ? I have $8,000 reasons to be negative about. How can you even think about being positive when you didn't pay those that needed paid over the past two seasons. Players are calling me looking for help getting to the next level. Ask Quenteen, Ryan Faraci and Jason Cherry. All three have had tryout opportunities with Arena teams. San Jose wants to look at Q and Ryan. I've spoken to the coaches there on their behalf. Be positive, give us our earnings and you'll never see another post about the Riverhawks. It is that simple. Until then, the real truth will be posted for all to see.

I spoke with Mike Dawson on Saturday and he has informed me that he will be taking care of ALL debt that has been accumulated through the mismanagement of funds. It appears that one of the teams owners was not taking care of business while Mike was away from the team. Jaleen and I are to meet with Mike this week to work out details and discuss the status of the organization. It appears that he was not given all the facts from the other owner. Mike promises to have all debts cleared in the near future and make plans for the 2008 season.
