Friday Scrimmage Gives Media Chance to See 2007 Riverhawks

JOHNSTOWN, PA - As the Johnstown Riverhawks get closer and closer to opening day, each practice becomes more and more vital. Some players will have to go home, that is just the nature of the game. No practice will probably more important for some players than this Friday Night's. The Johnstown Riverhawks of the American Indoor Football League will host their Media Day and final preseason intersquad scrimmage Friday, January 24, at 7:00pm at the Riverhawks Official Practice Facility at the White Township Recreation Center, 495 East Pike in Indiana, PA. Head Coach Steven G. Folmar and his staff will be making their final evaluations with the team's final cuts coming on Saturday before starting game preparations. All practices are free and open to the public and the schedule on the field is Wednesday, 10pm until midnight, Thursday 7pm until 9pm and then the final scrimmage starting on the field Friday at 7pm in Indiana.
The Johnstown Riverhawks, a proud member of the American Indoor Football Association will kick off the 2007 season on February 2, 2007, at the War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The Riverhawks will open up against the defending champion Canton Legends and need your support!
